Incredible vegan options - Edit
Attended Koi Los Angeles in Jan 2024. Had a whole separate vegan menu with at least 5 options in each category: starters, sides, and main rolls.

The vegan dragon roll, aka roll, and garden roll were all superb. One surprising thing was that none of the rolls used seaweed, but instead had soy paper. It didn’t take away from the deliciousness, though.
The karaage chicken was also great. Nothing too special, but it was tasty—and came with vegan spicy mayo.
The new crispy rice with spicy vegan tuna was a neat experimental option. It didn’t really hit well with me, personally, but it’s worth a try for the neat texture contrast.
The standout at the end was the vegan sundae, which was an immaculate assortment of treats made vegan all atop vegan ice cream. Every treat is made in house except the ice cream, but it was all delicious once swirled together. Some bites were with banana and ice cream, others with a cream puff and tart cherry. I would highly recommend.
