Amazing vegan and vegetarian options

Although this is a quasi-traditional Hungarian restaurant (= most of the food is typically Hungarian-style and non-vegan), the menu has a few wonderful vegan and vegetarian dishes that defy almost all expectations and leave one quite speechless with satisfaction and joy afterwards.

Great textures and taste, plus a wide range of non-traditional ingredients (tofu, seitan, etc.) all cooked to perfection await you in this cosy place.

The minus one star is obligatory on the app (because the restaurant is not fully veggie), but I'd really recommend the place.

Unexpeced vegan options in a small restaurant

I stopped with my family in this small restaurant and bar, located inside a holiday village. The place itself does not look amazing from outside but inside is nice an well kept. I knew they had vegan options but I was expecting more like a simple salad or potatoes, as it's normally hard to find elaborate vegan dishes in small villages of Hungary, but instead I could choose between 4 main courses with ingredients atypical for Hungarian cuisine but rather belonging to the vegan world like bulgur, smoked tofu, seitan and Asian noodles. I am not sure they had a vegan option for dessert but surely they had some other veggies in the menu, as side dishes or appetizer, however I did not ask if they were vegan. Prices were extremely cheap for EUR/USD user. A main course with the current exchange rate was in the order of 7-8 EUR.

Pros: Real vegan main options, not just empty salads, Various types of cuisine, Ingredients a vegan knows

Cons: Not clearly indicated vegan dessert, if present, Not clear if vegan beer of wine was available
