Highly recommend the Set menu!

8 dishes for 35pp. Really nice and leaves you full and satisfied. I’ve been twice now. The pacing of the dish delivery could be a bit more spaced at times and less crunched at others, but they just opened so an easily overlook-able issue. Some of my friends say many of the dishes are similar in taste, and I sort of agree; they are all tasty! #Veganuary

Totemo oishii desu

Wow, yummy, yummy, yummy, and all VEGAN! We settled for the Okamase set for JUST $35 each, incredible value. Each dish was simply amazing, although the crispy rice squares were a little too chewy but still enjoyable. Service was super friendly, but the food came out a little too quickly. We got in before 6pm on a Thursday and it filled in a short space of time, so perhaps they're looking to rotate tables to feed the masses.
The cocktails were also well priced and delicious.
It is fronting busy Enmore Rd, but once you start eating you forget about the location.

Pros: All VEGAN!, Sensational food, Great value

Cons: located on busy street

Creative fusion sushi

My husband prefers the sushi at Comeco, but I like the ones here because you get to eat dishes that remind you what seafood tastes like, minus the suffering of course. They overuse the kewpie spicy mayo, which I like when it blends in, but this flavor dominates everything once you've tried it once. I prefer more in smaller amounts than the two large portions of nigiri that they serve. And the dishes are pricy for the quantity because sushi is pricy after all. Other than that, I'm very pleased with what they offer. #Veganuary

Pros: Fun, Tasty

Cons: Nigiri a bit big, falls apart, Too much of the spicy mayo takes obey the dish, Pricy

What an experience!

Kimusabi is a new player and it’s already proven to be very popular! We got there and managed to grab the last table.

We went for the Omakase offering as for $35 you get to try a lot of different things from the menu and it’s a pretty good deal. Everything we tried was pretty sensational! Flavor combinations, presentation and the portion size itself.

We will be definitely going back there again!

Fairly nice but pricey for bad location and too much mayo

First the positives: creative take on sushis, very well presented: beautiful plating.
I particularly loved the classic "salmon" makis, the cauliflower tempura and the shiitake nigiri in which I found interesting texture and subtle tastes.
A nice touch was the homemade pickled ginger as a side.
Service was swift and very on point for a soft opening period.

What I did not love was the use of mayo or sriracha mayo in almost everything else. It makes everything taste too similar and overpowers the delicious flavours they created. I feel like it really cheapens the experience and I hope they will come up with more interesting or less sauce.
They also give you a side of chilli you can add to your taste AND put a fair bit of chili in most dishes which again overpowers the more subtle flavours characterising Japanese food.
Also, it's only outdoor seating along Enmore Rd which has a lot of noisy traffic, buses and planes flying above. Not exactly a set up for a romantic dinner.
Finally, a bit pricey for the quantities: spent $50 each (no drinks) and were barely full

Pros: "Salmon" makis!, Creative sushis, Service

Cons: Too much mayo and chili , Very noisy from the road, Pricey, small quantities
