Outdoor seating available, offering food & drinks from the canteen, such as a salad, nourish bowl, rice paper rolls, toasted sandwiches or cold pressed juices. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-9:00pm.

One thing that they do that is incredible is there freshly squeezed juices and their pies - oh the pies are to die for
I can't express how happy I am when I am in the store knowing that I dont have to read the back of the label for animal products

I had been looking forward to visiting this place when I came to Sydney and it definitely did not disappoint. There used to be just so much stuff here u had to visit and wander a number of times to take it all in. I managed to find some fancy face cream because I had left mine behind, so it really delivered. I bought a couple of pantry items I could’ve found in a supermarket or health food shop but I prefer to give my money to a vegan business. On hit sweaty day, a delicious Golden Gaytime from the deep freeze hit the spot, and there were even tables outside in the street to sit at while we ate them. A great place and I really hope it thrives, because similar vegan businesses have been dying in Sydney and Melbourne.

Ever since the cruelty free shop closed in Glebe this is my go to grocer for vegan specialties. They don’t have all the frozen good range that the cruelty free shop had BUT it is run by the people that run the vegan sushi place next door. So there are great fresh poke bowls you can get. I've here been many times before to get a few fav things like cheese, sausage, tempe chips, chocolate and lollies (yes! I still enjoy eating processed or junk food even now as a vegan) but the other day I just realised that I could do my grocery, sit down at a table and have satisfying Panini sandwich with my new favourite ricotta cheese in it, wash it down with something fresh from the fridge section, have a choc mudcake cupcake for dessert and get a baklava to take away..... what a great place!! Ps, they also have hot pies and sushi from Kimusabi next door, and whatever else I have yet to discover from this shop.

Read moreI visited multiple times during my recent trip to Sydney for snacks and some quick cheap eats. My partner and I grabbed a Toasted Eggplant Sandwich and Birria Pie which were both very tasty. The sandwiches are incredibly well priced.
The shop is well lit and the stock is presented nicely, making it very easy to spend as much time as you like in there exploring all of the different vegan products available.
I enjoyed having a chats with Peter (one of the owners) who was super friendly and was happy to answer any question I had.
I look forward to returning when the sushi and teppanyaki restaurants next door open!

Fresh fruit and vege without packaging, how wonderful to shop around a store knowing everything is,vegan friendly! Has a great range of cheeses that are good prices. Has quite a good range of staple items. Has some expected ranges like Eco products, various snacks that vegans know and love, and some wonderful surprises too, such as their own green products and freshly baked sourdough bread. Special mention to the lunches and sweety treaties on offer that I devoured (see picture) the sandwiches made in-house kitchen using up their produce that is no longer sellable, what a brilliant sustainable idea, hope this idea catches on. Well done guys x

It's on Enmore Road, not far from the Newtown train station, and almost opposite Buddha Bowl restaurant. I looked in on August 2, and was impressed by the range of items on sale. I wasn't planning on shopping, but left with some veg, ready-made salad, cheese, harissa and a bar of soap. It's good not having to examine every item's ingredients list: someone else has already checked that it is vegan.

Many brands and products, with better prices than other vegan grocery stores I've visited around here. You can also find takeaway food options, and the attendants treat you super well, very helpful and honest about what products they recommend, their personal tastes, etc.

You can go here for all your supermarket staples and not pay more! Really happy with the fruit and veg section, they have ready meals, cakes , pies, bread as well as specialty items like vegan southern fried chicken in the freezer section. The staff are all so lovely too. Plus they make their own cheese! I’ve enjoyed their own brand bocconcini.
