Some of the best food in Boise! - Edit
I would give them 5 stars if I could. Lots of vegan options, and a great price for the amount of food. The gomen and kae mesir are my faves!

I’m in town for a convention and I’ve wanted to try Ethiopian food for ages! This place was so so so good! I had mango “juice” (it was actually a smoothie w/o milk), it was delicious.

Delicious and affordable - Edit
First off the staff was so nice, I wish I got our servers name. She was so sweet and very attentive. We asked for the plate with 4 options and asked them to pick witch ever they liked as long as it was vegan. It was incredable and the samosas are amazing. Make sure to ask for the spicy suace. Maybe even a little extra for your meal!

"Cons: Lentil triangle appetizers aren’t vegan"
Read moreDo you know what is in them that isn't vegan? I ate them today because the waitress told me that they were vegan. But, her answer when I did ask her seem to come a little slow like she was deciding what to tell me. I ordered a couple anyhow.
Do they stick butter or something in the mix?

This app only allows us to give a maximum of four stars to this restaurant because they serve meat, but otherwise I would definitely give them a five. Delicious food, great service, totally reasonable prices.

This is my fave spot for food in Boise. I love making a veg combo and sharing with my family. Also Berbere is my fave spice and this is the only place I can get it in town.

New Favorite Spot - Edit
I absolutely adore this place. There is an entire vegan section (labeled veggie) that you can pick from. One dish you have to specify oil, no butter (ask the server!). My favorite is the the Gomen (kale potato onion mixture). I had never eaten Ethiopian food before and now it’s some of my favorite. Highly recommend.

Very filling - Edit
The group of us all tried a mix of the vegan options. We found them delicious and very filling! The food was fantastic and we all really enjoyed it. I give only 4 starts because our server was not very attentive. He brought our drinks and we were ready to order, but he walked away and played on his phone awhile before coming back. He did check on us once but by that time we were ready for boxes and he never brought a ticket so there was some confusion at the register when we paid. We can look past that and assume it is not a regular thing though. We will be back for sure!

Best Ethiopian in town. - Edit
This is the only Ethiopian place in town, but it's pretty good. You can get all the veg options vegan, as well as the veggie samosas. They bring your order on your own platter, in case you are with a meat eater. Very affordable.
