One of the best vegan cookies of my entire life - Edit
OMG. Their pumpkin butternut pecan cookie was out of this world. I cannot recommend enough this place. Good WiFi, nice staff, all their sweets/desserts are vegan.

Great food, nice place - Edit
Nice place, sweet service and GREAT food! Only two meals to choose from, we took both. One rice waffles with eggplant purree and one pasta with tomato sauce. Plates looked and tasted great! Fully vegan, some vegetarian extras optional.

Fresh and Delicious - Edit
I had a beautifully fresh orzo salad with courgette, peach, and other delicious ingredients, whilst my friend had a vegetarian teriyaki aubergine. I also had a chai latte with oat milk and we both had raspberry and white chocolate cookies to finish (all pastries and desserts are vegan). The service was quick and friendly. The menu is in French, but you can easily figure it out, use Google translate, or ask one of the ladies behind the counter.

Great vegan options - Edit
I had seen this cafe on Happy Cow and wanted to pick up something sweet to take away. It’s refreshing to walk into a place and know that all of the cakes and cookies are vegan and you don’t have to try and work out what you can have.
Read moreThere are sweet and savoury options, great coffee and a lovely, spacious area to sit in.
Definitely one to return to when I’m looking for more than sweet take away.
I had a substantial cookie with a gooey pistachio and chocolate filling. It was delicious!
Easy to find, just after the canal on Rue de la Gare

We visited here for tea and cookies. Lots of choice of vegan cookies which were large and €4 each. A cup of tea with oat milk was also €4 but nice to find in Annecy which is hard place to be a vegan!

Best chocolate tart ever - Edit
I ate a chocolate tart here that I still dream about. Like, I seriously catch myself thinking about it from time to time. I also appreciate that it is a gluten-free place. My wife has celiac disease and it is not always easy to find vegan+gluten-free friendly places when traveling.

Creative seasonal food - Edit
We ate here for lunch. There were 2 meals on the menu. Both were vegan, but could be made non vegan for those requesting that. We got both meals and shared. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and seasonal, and the food combinations were creative and delicious. Multiple desserts were available, all vegan. Staff spoke English and was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Bought 6 cookies, no regrets - Edit
The most Instagrammable place in Annecy (except the lake)! The ladies who run Kia Ora are SO lovely - the menu seems to change daily, there were 2 lunch options (1 veggie & 1 vegan, we could veganize both) and the owner took us through them in English. They were both delicious!
Read moreThe cookies are something else. The Pecan & choc chips are the best vegan cookies we’ve ever had (we’ve had a lot at this point! 🍪) we ordered 5 to take away and they gave us a free one too 😊 oh and all the deserts were vegan.
This place needs go fully vegan! They do vegan better than a lot of other places! And everything is beautiful!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Vegan cookies to die for , Beautiful decor
Cons: Make sure you book! They were rammed , Not fully vegan yet - but hopefully one day!

Great vegan restaurant in Annecy - Edit
The place is so cozy and chic, the whole place smells like baking cookies in the morning since there are so many vegan desserts to choose from! (But not all gluten free) They usually have three options for breakfast, one gluten free option and all vegan. Lots of drinks and vegan milks available as well! The owners and workers are incredibly kind and speak English. Also located incredibly close to the train station which is great!

Great vegan options and very friendly owners - Edit
We stopped in for breakfast at Kia Ora. The offering of the day was avocado toast, granola and vegan pancakes. I ordered the vegan pancakes and was pleasantly surprised when presented with a plate of pancakes with bananas, strawberries, chocolate, peanut butter and some granola sprinkled on top. Clem and Marie are very sweet and friendly. They spoke English and helped me fumble through my order. Would definitely come back here!
