Nice poke bowl & view, not very friendly staff - Edit
We went to Kelly‘s Warung on the way to the beach. The view is great and we enjoyed a really tasty tofu poke bowl and nice drinks.
Read moreHowever there is no sign that you need to order at the bar - the staff will bring you the menu and your ordered food, what makes it look like there should be service also for ordering. We waited a long time and got no attention whatsoever. After around 15 to 20 minutes we catched someone to get our order. We waited for the food also quite some time. And the staff was not as friendly as we knew it from other places.
Would recommend it if you are very chill and have time. The tofu in the poke bowl was really delicious.

Go for the view - Edit
I had a coffee first at Cashew Tree and felt a bit underwhelmed by that and felt the need to have proper food elsewhere, rather than giving what felt like a chain, more of my money. I walked down to Kelly's warung and the menu seemed eerily similar! I'm still left wondering whether they are perhaps owned by the same people.
Read moreAnyway, the food was nice, the staff were maybe not the most helpful or friendly that I've met in Bali, but nice enough.
The view though is what you really go for.
I was lucky enough to sit right on the rope, under a shady umbrella, overlooking Bining beach. It was a beautiful hour of people watching and dog watching (apparently people are bringing their expensive dogs to Bali now, I saw 2 dalmatians and a beagle puppy playing on the beach! What happened to adopt don't shop? There are so many dogs in Bali that need love and care!)
Anyway, it was nice, not my favourite food (there wasn't anything special to it, but it still tasted good, I have no complaints), but a really nice atmosphere and a great view over the beach. Also a nice pit stop on your way back up since there are a lot of stairs between the beach and the road above, so maybe stop here for a refreshing juice en route?
Pros: View across Bining beach, A couple of good vegan options+ juices
Cons: Lots of stairs to get there, Very similar menu to Cashew Tree up the road, Doesn't feel authentically Balinese

Vegan options - Edit
Be aware that you have to park in 10 minutes distance of the warung by walking a steep path. Not a lot of options, pricing seems fair, only cash.

Hits the spot - Edit
Right on the beach, need to take the stairs near The Temple Lodge to get here from up top. Walk along the beach until you see Kelly’s Warung. Every vegan dish is clearly labeled vegan. Fresh juices and smoothies, I had the pitaya bowl, and it was lovely and chilled😄the peace pop was also a blissful delight. 🥰 of course any juice will be perfection as well.
