Serves meat, vegan options available. The owner is long-time vegetarian who serves vegetarian food, but the kitchen is shared and others cooking and selling fish on the premise. So this is listed as veg-friendly and not pure veg. Order last meal by 5pm.

NOT A VEGETARIAN PLACE

I must confirm that Kedai Kopi Mei Mei definitely is not a vegetarian restaurant. They sell grilled fish outside the door and cooks chicken and meat. I have been around to see if there is another Kopi with the same name but this is not the case, and anyway this place is situated exactly at the address reported under the name and on the map of the site. So I cannot understand why is included on Happy Cow. Please remove it this place for the list.

Small vegetarian buffet, but good

There is no mention of the place being vegetarian on the outside sign, or on the inside from what I could see, but I checked and the owner said yes and that she is Buddhist and a vegetarian, and the food is all vegetarian.

There were about 6 dishes in the trays to choose from - mock meats, tofu and vegetables).

There is less choice than other vegetarian buffets around town but the food was tasty and cheap.

It seems they can also make some dishes on order like nasi goreng and mee goreng.

Pros: Good food, Friendly vege owner

Cons: No vegetarian sign outside or inside, Small buffet

Vegetarian? Where?

I dont know if it just to be a vegetarian restaurant, but last night i went they are grilling fish by the door step. The employees dont even know what that word means.

Cons: Not vegetarian, fish is served here

I visited this place recently and all the food appeared to be vegetarian. I talked to the owner and she is a Buddhist vegetarian and she said it's all veg food. Perhaps you were in another Kedai Kopi (coffee shop) or else there just happened to be a street stall outside serving fish?
