Serves meat, vegan options available. Casual, falafel place. The falafel and chips are fried in their own vegetable oil. Staff know what's vegan - ask.
This restaurant/takeaways is friendly and welcoming with complementary tea and instant coffee that clients can make if having a meal there.
The quality of the vegetarian Spinakopita on the menu (usually spelt Spanakopita) is however quite disappointing. This is supposed to be a light flaky filo pastry with a filling of spinach, feta cheese and herbs.
The dish we received had very little cheese in it and consisted of layers of a light green vegetable and a tough pastry top and on the base that needed a steak knife to cut it properly -definitely not a light fluffy filo pastry.
The dressed Turkish salad items and plentiful rice under the spanakopita were sadly no compensation.
Vegetarians should perhaps choose the falafel kebabs.
