Nice, local place - Edit
This is a nice little local restaurant close to the Patuxay Monument. Fully vegan, with many options on the picture menu (in Laos and English). Dishes are typically around 40,000 kip each. Food is high quality.

An ok vegetarian restaurant - Edit
Came to this restaurant to try the food and liked the atmosphere but the food was so so. The taste was average and the service was ok. Menu was in lao so a bit more difficult to order but used a language app to order. They have nice vegetarian food products you can purchase at the front

👍 - Edit
Had some really nice fried rice and a spicy sausage salad from this place. Easy to spot from the road and staff are very nice.

clean and friendly - Edit
ordered and got a big bowl of noodles and tofu...bit thin on the vegetables and the cook apologised for this. Not sure the restaurant has seen many foreigners since the pandemic hit and they seemed surprised by my visit but very welcoming. They were keen to stress it's a pure vegan, not veggie establishment.

Vegan* buffet for 25,000 - Edit
Is it vegan?: Buffet food is vegan but some packaged products sold contain cow milk.
Read moreLocation: Map location is correct. But easy to miss unless you are standing right in front of it.
Price: 25,000 kip for lunch. I ate two plates, a really good deal.
Food: good, simple authentic local food.
Hours: I arrived about 11:40 and the restaurant was quite busy, and some of the food was already cold. By 12:20, everyone had left and it appears she was ready to wrap up for lunchtime. Perhaps best to arrive around 11 or before. Don't count on it after 12:30.
To go: you can go there for takeout, but you need to bring your own container as only single use plastic and styrofoam are provided.
Pros: Simple vegan food, Good price
Cons: Narrow hours, Non-vegan products sold

small friendly restaurant - Edit
I ate here a few times when I was in Vientiane. The food was always good and the women running the place were friendly. I don't think they get many foreigners here, and they don't speak much English, but that didn't stop them from helping me out and making sure that I did not leave without getting enough to eat.
Read morePros: Friendly Lao People, Wholesome Lao Food, Inexpensive - good value
Cons: Not always a huge selection (but still good), Sometimes closes earlier than 7pm
