The food is amazing (had the miniburgers and vegan feta), the view of the sunset is breathtaking, and the atmosphere in general is great. The best vegan food we had all vacation!

Katharos Lounge - Edit
I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant during my last visit to Greece. The location was incredible by the ocean. The food was beautiful and delicious. I really loved the artichoke dip, which was my favorite. The black eyed pea main was delicious and the zucchini wraps were top notch. Highly recommended.

I took my (non-veg) mother here and she said it was the best food she had on the whole trip. Highly recommend the Phyllo rolls, spinach dip, and baked feta. We arrived after sunset so it was difficult to see the beach but I imagine the view is beautiful. The staff was so incredibly kind and even helped order a taxi back to our place.

This place is a hidden gem. Staff are so friendly, great views of the sunset and the food is delicious. We ate here twice during our stay and were extremely satisfied.

We’ve been to Katharos Lounge a few times during our stay in Santorini. The staff is very nice and the food is great. It has a great sea view as well. For 2 persons you should order 3-4 meze dishes. We especially enjoyed their phyllo rolls and the mini burgers.

The entire menu is vegan! Everything is increíble. Great to go to with someone and split a bunch of different plates! The atmosphere is spot on, cocktails delicious, staff so friendly! Highly recommend!

After doing the trail from Fira to Oia, we stopped in for a few bites and a drink and WOW! Maybe the best food I have ever had, but definitely the most beautiful dining experience. Sitting here at sunset was breath taking. While the portions are small, you may need to order 3 dishes to split between two people - but it is well worth it.

So cool to try traditional vegan food in vegan. We hat the spinach cheese rolls, moussaka and feta cheese. My boyfriend especially loved the feta cheese as it tasted so real, I was a big fan of the moussaka. The place is super cute and has a nice beach views!
Read moreOnly Con: first we ordered just two meals and it was way too less. So for 2 persons I would recommend to take 3-4 dishes (depends on how hungry you are). So it’s a Little bit expensive.

Was our favorite meal on santorini! Everything is delicious on their menu, you cant go wrong. If the sun is setting on that side, make sure to book dinner for sunset. Its nice that its away from the crowded Oia and has its own parking so you can drive right up.

Ate lunch with my wife. The restaurant has so many options, the service was remarkable and the location and view were amazing! You don't really understand where you are driving until you get to this stunning location watching over the sea, very romantic! Don't miss out this place !

It’s about a 15 minute walk from Oia (by Katharine Beach), but this place is great. It has a beautiful view over the beach and the food is amazing.

Worth every step of the hike here - Edit
While you can drive to Katharos, we hiked from Fria to Oia, then further to get to Katharos! It's literally at the tip of the island and the views, food are incredible. Best food I had our while trip! All vegan and right on the beach. A bit off of the beaten path but WELL worth it!

The food here was out of this world delicious. It is hard to find fully vegan anything in Greece so this place is a gem. We got the Shakshuka, the phillo, and steak cauliflower. The Phillo was a must for us because we always like to explore the fake vegan cheeses of the world, and this did not disappoint! The shakshuka was recommended by the waitress and we were so happy she did, it was gone from the table almost the moment it arrived. The steak cauliflower was good as well, but definitely nothing compared to the other dishes. The menu has so many other options, it might be interesting to try something else.
Atmosphere****
We got there just before sundown, all the tables were reserved but no one was seated at them. It’s right on the water so has a spectacular view.
Service***
We were told the restaurant didn’t take reservations, but when we arrived, every table was reserved already. They had only a few tables not reserved and then bar seating. Luckily we got a table but know to book in advance or arrive early. Funnily enough, every table was booked but we ate our entire meal alone at the restaurant and even when we left not one person had been seated in the “reserve”.

This was one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. Even though this is a tapas restaurant, the portions are generous. I definitely recommend the cheesy dip and the phyllo with spinach appetizer. Seriously delicious!
