Bardzo smacznie - Edit
Porcje szczere od serca, mega smaczne i domowe. Polecam placka po zbójnicku, którego wzięliśmy na pół i Pani nawet dała nam dwa osobne talerzyki. Rosołek też pyszny. Jedyny mankament to ostry zapach oleju,który został mi na ciuchach i włosach. Może to przez brak wentylacji w starej kamienicy,nie wiem. W każdym bądź razie na smak jedzenia nie miało to wpływu. 💯 Polecam

It's so nice to come accords a place that has so many vegan dishes, including traditional polish food. The restaurant is a simple almost canteen style affair, which means you should expect that when it comes to eating experience/service. Both our meals were very good, although my husband's could have been a bit hotter. Very happy with the food.

Porażką jest "carbonara" - odgrzewane spaghetti polane sosem, który wygląda i smakuje jak zupa kalafiorowa (z marchewką! Włosi by to wyrzucili przez okno), dodatek wędzonego tofu najgorszej jakości bez żadnej obróbki. Do tego surówki! No bez jaj, to nie stało obok wegańskiej carbonary. Proszę tak nie nazywać dań, które nie spełniają żadnych standardów kuchni włoskiej. Zapraszam właścicieli tego lokalu do przejrzenia internetu bądź wizyty w warszawskim lokalu The Botanist, gdzie zjecie pyszną carbonarę dla inspiracji. Wracając do surówek - wszystkie smakują tak samo, jakby były kupione z pudeł w hurtowni. To jest po prostu okropne. Ja rozumiem, że nie można wymagać zbyt wiele od baru, ale tego nie da się jeść ze smakiem. Opinie wg mnie są zawyżone, ja bym totalnie tu nie wróciła. Widziałam, że inni też zostawiali prawie całe porcje.

The portions were really big, the food was quite cheap but just OK. Both the dishes we ordered were a bit bland and were lacking something. So if you are hungry, go ahead but don’t expect anything life changing.

Karrotka is definitely not the best or the fanciest restaurant out there in Toruń, but it's definitely a pleasure to eat in there. It's more a bistro than it is a restaurant, and while there's no self-service involved, you can set up every dish to fit your preferences perfectly by choosing a main part and picking the sides, the sauce and the slaws just as you like them. The portions are big and very filling and they give a strong home dinner vibes, while being relatively cheap at the same time, which would in my mind make it a perfect place for students. The service is nice and I absolutely loved the old rock classics playing in the radio in the background 😊 If you look for cooking fireworks it's probably not the correct place to go, but Karrotka will instead be a perfect everyday dinner place with very tasty, filling food and great atmosphere.

There are now a number of good vegan friendly restaurants and cafes in Toruń but this is absolutely the best. Despite the listing, I think this is now fully or pretty much fully vegan. This cafe never fails to delight with their varied menu of mains and soups, and dish of the day (check out their Facebook page). They have an English copy of the menu. Reasonably priced and wonderfully tasty. Try the others, but make this your regular.

1. Dobre jedzenie (warto wspomnieć, że bardzo duże porcje, wręcz nie do wciśnięcia).

4. Klimatyczny mały lokal.
Jedyne czego mogę się przyczepić to dania mogłyby być odrobine bardziej przyprawione. Ale wiadomo wszystko zależy od podniebienia.

There were so many options! Everything is vegan so it was hard to choose. I decided to go for the 'talerz' as it meant I could try 3 of their dishes at once: Indian pierogi, better than IKEA veggie balls and filled potato balls. With it, I could choose 3 different salads chuckful of freshly cut vegetables! Heaven. It was a really big portion with a ton of vegetables and rice or kasza. Delicious comfort food!

Niestety większość pozycji z menu to dla mnie totalny niewypał. Kompletnie nie podchodzi mi smak dań w tej retauracji. Zapach w restauracji też nie był zbyt przyjemny. Dla mnie jedynym plusem są niskie ceny.

Zamowilam jakies wegan kotlety w sosie pieczarkowym. Nie dosc ze czas oczekiwania porazka mimo ze byly pustki to jeszcze dostalam sos pomidorowy. Poszlam o tym poinformowac. Pani obrazaona na caly swiat laskawie przynioska mi sosjerke z sosem pieczarkowym. Nie bardzo wiedzialam co niby mam z tym zrobic. Zetrzec ten paskudny pomidorowy czy co. Powiedzialam grzecznie ze nie chce tego sosu pomidorowego. Pani przewracajac oczami i patrząc na mnie jakbym jej pol rodziny wybila łaskawie wymienila mi ten sos. Jedzenie tez bez szalu. A vegan "milk bar" - Edit
I have eaten in this restaurant many times and I haven't seen much consistency in their dishes. I absolutely loved few (for example the dumplings, soups) but other were a total fail. I have recently gone there to get some crepes and got really disappointed. Although the crepe itself was okay, it wasn't filled and the fruit on top were not good at all (and it was quite pricey as well!).

Cheap vegetarian bistro located by one of the most beautiful streets of Torun's old town; colourful, with smiling and aware staff and delicious food😄No wonder that there's always full, even not in the lunch time. Portions are huge, food is tasty and full of aroma. Menu is changing but sometimes includes traditional Polish dishes, such as pierogi. For every dish you can select the additional salads - delicious and fresh. Each time I was fully satisfied.

The restaurant has a typically “old fashioned vegetarian look and feel”. With this I mean before being vegan was hip and fashionable. Nonetheless, the food they serve is good and tasty! The Golabki was delicious and I really recommend it to try.
