Fantastic - Edit
We stopped by for the plate lunch special and ate way too much dessert. Food was super good, pastries were unbelievable and the staff is as knowledgeable and friendly as can be. We will be back every chance we can!

Road trip stop - Edit
My bf and I randomly found this place , I was first hoping to find macarons(from a picture i had seen). But unfortunately they didn't have them. Although instead I found a ton of vegan sweets, I forgot to take a picture of them. But they had Cadbury eggs, cake pops, lemon bars , carrot cake cupcakes , whoopee pies, truffles, cheesecake brownies, and a few other options. On top of that they also have a kitchen, with hot food options. I got the tacos. And a lavender lemonade. It's really cute there and has good vibes. I also got a ton of sweets. Lol don't know if I will eat everything, I might have gotten carried away. So happy with all my choices.

Worth a Stop - Edit
Has a good variety of vegan snacks, chocolate, etc. - Not everything I tried was a home run, and a few things were too pricey for their own good, but worth a stop, overall. I’ll be back!

Everything is vegan and gluten free! - Edit
Since we were trying to stay on the road as much as possible, instead of stopping to make food or sitting at a restaurant we decided to eat on the go. We popped into @karmacollectivelaf and found some yummy wraps, juices, and desserts (our favorite of course). I was super excited that not only is everything there vegan, but it’s also gluten free! 🤗 Isabel decided she’d just stack in the car and opted for a chocolate cupcake, which she ate immediately. 😆 Dan picked up an eggplant bacon wrap, and I got a hummus wrap. Both were absolutely scrumptious (so good I forgot to take photos 🤦♀️), as were the desserts; Isabel’s cupcake and my fudge round. I also decided to get a drink for the road, and the Lavender Mint Lemonade was one of my favorites. Next time we pass by, we’ll have to stop in again for more yummy food.

Amazing - Edit
Absolutely loved this place! Yes some lf the pastries are french style so of course they are sweet- macarons are just like Paris, light and intensely flavored but that’s as it should be! Plenty of wonderful earthy options like the raw protein cookie or granola or booster bars. Had a sacred earth superfood bar to go and a few juices and an amazing matcha latte and bought local oils and crystals. Overall phenomenal and you can specify what you are looking for! Super cute curated spot 💕

Plant-Based and GF - Edit
FYI - This place was formerly called Tribe Collective, which was in a different location. I’m just mentioning that because I originally went to the old location due to conflicting information online. This is the one and only, and the address on this listing is correct as of July 2019.
Read moreI was just passing through Lafayette, and I greatly appreciated that there was an all-vegan shop in town. I stuck around until 7am when it opened just to give it a shot.
The employee was helpful and friendly, and the shopfront was appealing. There were a decent amount of products in the coolers (wraps, etc.), but I only tried a few items from the bakery counter.
I was excited to try the macarons, which ended up being way too sweet for me. I also tried the cheesecake, a fudge round, and some type of bar with nuts in it. I thought the bar was okay, but I didn’t care for the cheesecake, and the fudge round was hard and maybe a little over-cooked.
I will admit that I’m a somewhat harsh critic because I’ve had some really delicious vegan items, but my mom and bf both agreed with me on these opinions. Again, I didn’t try anything else in the shop, so I can only speak for the baked goods at this time.
Regardless of my thoughts on the sweets, this place is a nice thing to see in a city like Lafayette. It is a collective, and they sell more than just food items. It’s definitely something to check out if you’re in the area.
Pros: Everything is vegan!, Opens at 7am
Cons: A bit expensive , Baked goods are okay but could use some work
