Finally found a great vegan place in Switzerland - Edit
Switzerland is a difficult country with all involved with vegan food, that's the reason I was so happy to find this great restaurant. It doesn't have much to choose from but all was great.

Very nice venue not far from HB - Edit
I stopped by while visiting Lucerne, the food was exceptionally good, I took bowl with grilled watermelon, before we got bread starter as well as bowl of salad. Very nice interesting venue and nice and helpful staff. Highly recommend !

The waitress made sure we understood that they are vegan - we said that is why we were there. Our bus stopped briefly and we got the wrap - which seemed quickest. They got us on our way in a hurry. The Indian inspired wrap was well seasoned. NOTE - the menu was only in German, but was explained.

Lovely Vegan place by the River - Edit
The decor is lovely and staff friendly. We went on a Saturday night and it was crowded. Unlike the tag on happy cow/google map, they don’t offer takeaway. I had the seitan and tofu burger and the ‘Kraut Chef Surprise’ for dessert. The burger was delicious, but the patty was a bit dry and hard to chew, the dessert dish came with 3 options, the strawberry mousse was by far the best, it was light and fluffy.

Karls Kraut is one of the best vegan restaurants here in Switzerland and definitely worth the visit. They offer a changing menu for dinner with different creative and tasteful options. I had a pasta dish with seasonal vegetables and Creme brûlée for dessert, absolutely delicious! Also the staff is very attentive and forthcoming. Just be sure to reserve ahead because it get‘s very crowded in the evening.

This was probably the best food experience I’ve had, let alone the best Vegan food, that too in Lucerne. Loved the Quinoa Sellerie dish and DO get the desserts. It’s a fine place to sit with a great bar and gourmet delights. You don’t want to miss this.
