Ample choice - Edit
Kaoo is located on a 7th district corner, easily reached by tram. I've been to Kaoo quite a lot of times, and I think it's a pretty solid restaurant with lots of vegan options to choose from the menu. I am however not really excited about most of them. The Pad Thai I found a bit bland, the sweet-sour chicken oddly chewy, and - which a lot of people love - (most of) their maki are just not for me. I do really like the eggplant starter dish as well as the mapo tofu - those are great!

Great portion size and two whole pages of vegan options. Vegan chicken in the „Kokonus Curry“ tasted a bit weird but the rest of curry was great. Would still recommend.

die karte bietet einiges an veganen Optionen. zur Vorspeise haben wir gyoza und frittierte Teigtaschen bestellt. die Portionen waren etwas klein. für den preis aber geschmacklich gut! zur Hauptspeise hatten wir die ramen und ein curry. ersteres war absolut ok, das curry war allerdings kaum bis gar nicht gewürzt und hat dem entsprechend sehr langweilig geschmeckt. der service war top und die location ist net😄

Read moreDie Sushiplatte ist sehr ausgefallen, die Misosuppe sehr lecker, allgemein kann man sich nur von der Vorspeisenkarte ernähren, weil sie so abwechslungsreich und sehr, sehr lecker ist (Empfehlung: die Teigtaschen mit Erdnusssoße). Von den Hauptspeisen kann ich die Suppen sehr empfehlen. Allgemein sind die Portionen sehr groß und ich habe mehr als einmal mit etwas einpacken lassen müssen.
Das Personal ist super freundlich und ich schleppe quasi jeden Besuch den ich bekomme hier her, weil genauso für Omnis viel dabei ist.

first impression quite good, left side of counter ok, right side complete lumber room with beeping smoke detector.

Someone fried a slice of tofu (cold cuts = Aufschnitt) twice with tempura and called it duck.
There are three of these things on the plate. The vegetables were actually just onions with sprouts.

The vegan options many are all of them amazing, but the vegan sushi plate (for two persons) is a feast for the eyes, delicious as hell and really satisfying. Prepared with creative love and worth the price.

Wow what an awesome restaurant! So many different vegan options to choose from - creative unusual sushi, ramen and so much more! Got the summer rolls and mango sushi and it was super delicious. Will definitely come back to try all the other dishes!
