Small shop with stall out the front. Has a few tables inside. Sells 3-4 pre-made Thai dishes and possibly makes to order as well. Also has some items for sale such as vegan shrimp paste for making veg Thai curries. Located opposite the road that goes up the mountain. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-5:00pm.

Vegan Thai Food - Edit
Very tasty and very cheap vegan Thai food. Nice staff and friendly service. Large servings. We went 2 times in 3 days in the area took food "to-go" both times after eating there! So good and cheap!

Good Jay food - Edit
The Jay food was tasty! There were a few options to choose from including mock meats and vegetable dishes. The person working there didn’t speak English but was very friendly when I communicated in my limited Thai. The interior is a bit shabby, and you hear the sound of the street, but the food is good. Considering this is one of the only listings in Chiang Dao, it’s definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

Such a tasty Jay food - Edit
I am so grateful for this jay rest. in Chiang Dao. Usually I don't really like the taste of Jay food but this one is completely different as I tried before. I saw 3 women are working there and they are so friendly. We used google translate for the help in communication:) all the meals are so cheap. They also sell some different snacks/chips only for 10BHT.

Very yummy, crazy cheap - Edit
I came for the first tome today and had the noodle soup, which was super good! It came with cabbage, bamboo sprouts, big noodles (small alao possible), minced soy and mushroom balls. Big portion, and just 30 baht!
Read moreThe owner, an old woman and a young girl, (i guess mother and daughter) are super friendly and welcoming! They dont speak much english, but she knows how to use google translate, so communication is no problem. Will definitely come again the next days!
There a picture of a google translation of the Thai menu, but I dont know how accurate that is. When i asked for curry they didn't have. They definitely also have Pad Thai, as well as rice dishes. See my other pictures which come next days, to see what I've uncovered from the cryptic menu 😄
Pros: Very yummy, Very friendly, Very cheap

Great - Edit
We payed 100TB for 2 people... this included fresh egg noodles with tomato-eggplant broth and mushroom balls, fried tofu, 3 rolls of vegetarian minced meat with lemongrass and a dipping sauce. Everything was really delicious. The lady doesn't speak a word of English but she was so kind.

Small little shop with good noodle soup and friendly lady - Edit
We weren’t really sure if we want to eat here but we just gave it a shot. We had fried rice with vegetables and noodle soup, I would recommend the noodle soup which was delicious. All in all we paid 60 baht.

Good surprise - Edit
I didn't expect a that good, tasty food in a such basic and cheap place. All seems vegan, they even laughed when I wondered if eggs are used for cooking. I discovered that on my first day in Chiang Dao thanks to Happy Cow, and I took lunch or dinner, sometimes both, every day of my stay there, which were 9 days.
Read moreThe mushroom - tofu - noodle (egg free) - vegetable soup is just amazing. Fried tofu is also surpringly nice.
