I've gone to Kale Cafe at Daytona location a few times with my partner. Each time, we were optimistic about the visit. Hoping for a clean restaurant with good service and good, fresh food. Instead, we got horrible service and food that clearly looked and tasted as if it were days old. Considering the above, you know where the cleanliness aspect stands. Horrible! Don't waste your money.

Everything taste so good and is packed with flavor. I’m not even a fan of kale - but the kale salad is addictive. One of my top spots for sure. Great to have a place in the Daytona area I know I can eat and enjoy.

I really enjoyed my first visit here. The vegan mac and cheese was phenomenal but the Bruce it Up smoothie was my favorite!! Great service and I like that they use compostable or recyclable cups and utensils.

A friendly Restaurant with patio, we went with our 3 dogs. Kale salad was amazing, we ordered their value food which includes 4 choices of meals. Every single of food had a different and incredible taste..

Juju was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious - everything is 100% vegan. We had the bacon and cheese burger and it was awesome.

We really wanted to give more stars. Certainly that the location and staff has something to do with it because we arrived at the closing of the other location (116 N beach st) and the people working there made us love right away Kale Cafe...

Here was a different experience that the one we expected...
Food wise, nothing much to say. We tried the tofu of the day and it was teriyaki, really good. Don’t know thought if it was organic. And I had a kale salad really good. There is a little little sign that say non gmo at least. We had the vegan burger and it was ok. The patty is home made and good but don’t know what is inside.
We were forced to take 4 different options in our value menu when we just wanted 3 and take double on the potatoes for our daughter.. that is where it lost 1 star.
But the point is, it’s not a matter of saying no to the customer for something that futile, it is that the staff doesn’t fit the place. We were looking for vegan spirit and we didn’t found people representing this spirit in this location ( compares to the other one).
So globally, price was ok even though portions were average size. Food was good but nothing exceptional and service was below average considering the entire experience.
We will probably stop by to the other location to give them a try. We will not come back to this one for a little while, just the time they find people that love life and love what they are doing because after all, working in a vegan restaurant, it’s working for a better future and that is the 1st reason why we go out to eat, otherwise we stay home and food is as always delicious and organic.

First time here, had the vegan value meal. Everything I had was delicious, big portions, and reasonable prices! Had the seitan masala, Mac n cheeze, kale salad, and jerk mushrooms!

Our order got LOST and we waited almost an hour for our food, but they had a mix up in the person taking orders. Anyway, they put vegan mayo and cheese on their food and use oil, but their food is very tasty!! I'll go back to give them another chance. I like a totally vegan Restaraunt!
