Got meat

I've been eating here for a few years. Every time I go in I make small talk with the owner, I am very sweet, gracious and polite.

I ordered a falafel wrap, got home, took a bite, it was chicken. Gross. A month ago I saw a facebook post someone complaining about the same thing.

I called and let him know, he said to come back and he'd make me a wrap. When I got in, I politely let him know someone else had commented about something happening last month. I asked for a refund as well, since I had to make two trips for one sandwhich, and had to eat meat, and I am a regular customer. He said if I wanted a refund, i wouldn't get a new sandwhich.

I wanted a refund as a sign of trust and respect, and to show value for my time and that I had to deal with something negative.

I let him know I was looking for a refund to keep me as a customer and he handed me $5 cash from the til.

Sadly I feel like he doesn't understand the experience, he thought I was trying to get a free sandwhich or something, and while I do understand accidents happen, i also feel disrespected as a person and that he wasn't trying to do something to make it right.

I'm not taking it so seriously but just needed to rant so I can get over it!
