WOW so many vegan options! - Edit
As a person who struggles to find a restaurant with some good vegan options, this place was such a great find. My friends were all talking about jungle street kitchen and when i looked at the menu, i was amazed at their wide vegan options. When i visited i tried the vegan bao burger, which was two steamed buns with a nice vegetable fritter inside, they also gave vegan mayo! They gave a separate vegan menu even when the menu highlighted VEO for vegan options. I also tried the tempura mix and okra greens and their bubble tea which was also vegan! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Warning to vegans ⚠️ - Edit
Warning to vegans very few things here are actually vegan. All fried items including chips are cooked in the same oil as meat, seafood and dairy.

Vegan quesdilla was underwhelming bland and simply used chips as a filling which as stated previously are not vegan.

Good place for vegan options in Lichfield - Edit
If ever I’m eating out in Lichfield, Jungle Kitchen is one of my go to places. They offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options which are very clearly labelled on the menu. They also offer a wide selection of drinks including bubble teas which can easily be made vegan if you ask for milk alternatives.

Excellent Vege & Vegan Options! - Edit
We visited this restaurant last week and what an incredible find it was. The place has a jungle theme and a very unique setting and menu. I was surprised how many vege /vegan options there was on the menu. I loved the crazy chaat my absolute favourite. The okra greens were crunchy and tasty. The tempura mix was cooked to perfection with a lovely green mint dip. The vegan quesadilla was large and they even gave vegan mayo. Portions are a good size, price is very reasonable and the customer service was spot on very friendly people. Now my favourite restaurant to visit in Lichfield.

Hidden “service” charge - Edit
Food is overpriced.

Manager is passive aggressive. Other reviews on different platforms will verify this
Oh and to top it off they have a hidden service charge (that they don’t tell you about)
I’m this day and age I’m amazed people still even try this 1970’s money grabbing tactic still.

Bad service - Edit
Arrived at 8 because our table was booked for 8. When we got there we were told there would be a long wait for a table unless we sat on the window seat. We were sat right by the door so had a constant draft and could see a few tables free so we asked if we could move while ordering. Multiple people came in since and were sat in the free tables so we were told we wouldn’t be able to move. When our food came our chips and bread didn’t arrive so I had to go up again. They also charged us a service charge which we didn’t know about until paying. Won’t be going again.

We ordered the vegetarian sharing platter, but asked for vegan options only. It was really tasty with some unique options. Flavours were great. We also ordered the vegan salad, which was a good size and very tasty. Service was good. Would try again. #Veganuary
