Improvements - Edit
Dubblecheck their vegan items!
Read moreMe and my friend are vegan and asked about multiple dishes and the staff wasn’t really understandable. I don’t think they know what vegan is, because we asked about a vegan item on the menu, which had bread. We asked about the bread, we checked and it was not vegan.
My acai smoothiebowl was not nice, because I was literally icecream.😅 Very small portion for a high price, used plastic for no reason and no granola on top. This could be such a nice place, but there are improvements.

bread and bagel = NOT VEGAN - Edit
I went to Juice Queen because on the menu were several vegan options. I asked if the bread and bagel is vegan, because normally bread like that (it was quite light coloured) is not vegan. She checked and said that there is butter (dairy) inside… so all the vegan dishes with bread or bagel is NOT VEGAN unfortunately… I had the rice with veggies instead. That was a good dish!! So they still have some vegan options! 😊

Good but expensive - Edit
I wasn’t blown away when visiting despite the aesthetics of the cafe and the large range of food/drinks for vegans. Most of the meat options can be substituted for tofu/tempeh. I asked to veganise a dish with tempeh and they didn’t have it, only tofu. Then when the dish came out, it was missing asparagus. I asked where it was and she said it didn’t have asparagus (it definitely said it in the menu) so she got the menu to prove me wrong… but saw for herself that it should have asparagus so she took it back. Overall good but underwhelming.

Good juice. Very expensive - Edit
The prices in the brochure are incorrect. They actually went up in price and you get less juice.

Delicious juice healthy options - Edit
Delightful little place.
Read moreSadly they do also serve chicken, fish and egg and dairy.
But, they offer tofu option for each dish (and at a cheaper price than the chicken or fish which is good)
Also have almond milk for smoothie bowl or drinks.
Almond and cashew nut butter available, yum!!! :-)
I had golden sun fresh squeeze pure juice, amazing flavor
Pros: Cute healthy
Cons: Also serves animal

Dear Samantha,
Read moreThank you very much for leaving such a nice review and that you also enjoyed our vegan options. In the future, we hope to be 100% no animal tho as now there are demand for it and I really need to keep the business coming.

All great except the plastic - Edit
Juice Queen has a great selection of juices & smoothies, and very friendly servers.
Read moreIt is very vegan-friendly, with almond milk available for smoothies, though there are a few non-vegan drinks on the menu (with honey).
The only problem is that they serve the drinks in plastic bottles, even when not ordered for take-away. This came as a surprise, as there are nice tall glasses above the bar, so we don't know why they didn't use them.
in addition to the disastrous environmental impact of plastic bottles (Samui has no truly eco-friendly way to deal with plastic), plastic is also bad for the health (due to toxins leaching from the plastic bottles into the juice), so it's surprising to find an otherwise health-conscious establishment using plastic bottles for dine-in orders.
We suggest that anyone not ordering for take-away requests your drinks to be served in glasses, not plastic.
Enjoy!
Pros: Great selection of healthy drinks, almost all vegan (except honey)
Cons: Plastic bottles

Hi Earthville,
Read moreThanks for your 4-star review. I really appreciate that.
We recently started to add healthy and homemade breakfast and lunch to our cafe. Hence, we have more customers in-store for sitting down and not taking away. That way we can serve our juices and smoothies in glass jar and so on. We have reduced much more of our plastic consumption.
Thanks again and I hope you will visit us once again and try our delicious foods!
Thank you,
Kwang-
