This is such a great little spot for food in Tamarindo! Absolutely everything at Juice Cafe is clearly labelled, making it super easy to select what you need accomodating for dietary preferences. I was spoilt for choice as a vegan!
Read moreI opted for the curried chickpea/garbanzo sandwich and found it to be a really satisfying meal in iteself. Lovely fresh bread, salad and delicately spiced chickpea filling made it very tasty. My husband opted for coconut overnight oats (one of my favourites, and the first time I've had it prepared for me by someone else!). It was lovely and smooth-tasting. Very satisfying and I liked that it was presented in a jar able to be re-used. My daughter had the hummus platter with vegetable batons , which she approved of. We also tried some smoothies and found them to be delicious too!
Juice Cafe also has a variety of tasty cakes and bakes for sale for very reasonable prices. These appeared to have really simple ingredients, which was amazing to see.
Overall, this is a great place for picking up lunch. I'd love to see more reuseable crockery etc used for eat-in orders, but I was happy to see that veg-ware compostable utensils and containers were being used.
Juice Cafe also has a well-stocked chidren's area, which was very well recieved by our 4 year old! I'd definitely recommend trying out this lovely little gem in the heart of Tamarindo.
