Yummy Ang Ku Kueh for tea break

Love the Ang Ku Kueh here, with different type of fillings to choose from. It still taste good the next day, if you can't finish within a day.

They do sell a box of 6 Ang Ku Kueh (different flavor and colour) which is very presentable to buy as a little gift or for office tea break sessions.

Price has increased twice within the year, from $1 to $1.30 each for the normal type.

The rainbow Ang Ku Kueh is beautiful but expensive.

Tried their rainbow coloured ones. Love it but it’s a bit expensive.

Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh

When it comes to ang ku kueh, my go-to are definitely the life-changing ones from Ji Xiang Confectionery 吉祥食品. The founder has continued the tradition of making everything by hand despite the time-consuming and tedious process, resulting in the soft, stretchy glutinous skin everytime. No wonder they are considered one of the traditional gems in Singapore!

Their ang ku kuehs are vegan, no honey, eggs or butter used in the products

Do note that fried shallots are added to the salted bean Ang Ku Kueh

Pros: Value for money
