Pleasant jazz and tea

I love jazz, and I was in the Hongdae/Hapjeong area so I decided to stop in with a friend. I think this place used to be really popular before covid, around 2016/17 when Hongdae was at its peak. They open at 6pm these days, but their first set didn’t start until 6:30. They have also narrowed down their menu to serving 5 types of teas as well as Dutch coffee. Admission w/ drink comes out to ₩15,000. Interior could use some renovation, but the guitarist introduced their set in English for us, which I thought was quite nice. I’d recommend stopping in to hear a set after grabbing dinner in the area.

What a pleasant surprise!

We overheard beautiful Jazz sounds coming from this magical place, and had to follow them down the basement to hear the music from close. This was one of the best spontaneous moves we've made so far in Seoul :) Aside from the virtuoso performance we accidentally stumbled upon, they had a latte section which was entirely vegan and offered everything one could wish for! In one word: Paradise. And I mean it... we ordered the pumpkin and the green tea soy lattes and were love struck. It might be worth mentioning that I don't remember seeing food there, and the drinks are non alcoholic. Highly recommended!

Pros: Many soy lattes to choose from, very friendly owner, two minutes away from Hapjeong station

Cons: None!
