A late night pasta craving was sorted when we got to Jazz cafe. Nice outdoor tables and ambience. The waiter was happy to take us through vegetarian menu options and we were well received. Food was excellent. It was unfortunate we were in a bit of rush and could not hang out more.
Yes, the pasta was good and I had a fine meal with nice service. But why is this place listed on HappyCow at all?? This restaurant offers not more, not less than any other italian restaurant ... and lacks any indication of veg food.
Asked what vegan options there were and only offered pasta and pizza without cheese. Do not order the grilled vegetables as it is only a few slices of burnt vegetables that cost 5€
The staff is amazingly nice. I asked for a vegan option, I probably had the same dish of spaghetti mentioned above, but it was absolutely delicious and so was the cicoria ripassata. The prices are reasonable.
I got to the Jazz Café and wasn’t expecting anything fantastic. But when I asked the waiter if they had any vegan options on the menu, he said they had several, but that he recommends the Spaghetti dish with tomato sauce and vegetables. I thought “Okay, here we go again” because I’m so tired of pasta and tomato sauce. But I got really surprised because it was DELICIOUS! I really recommend that one as well since it was sooooo good. It’s worth trying, and it wasn’t overpriced for the quality of the food.
We went here every evening for our meal as the staff were so friendly they spoke excellent English. They were happy to discuss our vegan requirements and make whatever we wanted whether it was on the menu or not.
There were no vegan dishes on the menu itself but they were very accommodating and were prepared where practical to amend the dishes to meet our needs or make something not on the menu if they had the ingredients.
A lot of Italians ate there which speaks volumes for the quality of the food

Italian regular restaurant - Edit
This restaurant has nothing vegan. Staff just said to us: pizza and pasta, but nothing is labeled and everything has dairy. Don’t come.
