Whole Foods like in SE Asia - Edit
Loved all the vegan options! Even the simple things that I take for granted in the US, like hummus, tortilla chips, and plenty of cold cereal choices.
Read moreThe location is great for me, right around the corner from my Airbnb. But I chose the suburban part of the city, away from the tourist areas.

Best supermarket for vegans - Edit
We visited several supermarkets in Georgetown, but this was the best one by far. Of course we haven’t tried all of them, so there might be better ones, but it was the best one we found.
Read moreIt has various vegan items: Vegan cheese (violife), chocolate, tofu, several kinds of hummus and guacamole, plant milk and plant yoghurt, organic crisps etc.
It was great to shop here and buy some of the things we were craving and had not found in other supermarkets.
Moreover, this one is very tidy and clean, the staff are friendly and the queues are short, and the overall experience is just very pleasant.
It is located at the Paragon Mall, so it is not in the city centre, but we combined it with a visit to the Buddhist temples nearby and some shopping and a drink at the mall.
