Had lunch at JAY Oh in Arachova, where the staff were incredibly attentive to our request for a vegan lunch, to the point of switching out the first salad dressing they offered when they realized it had honey in it. The server had a good command of English and communicated our vegan request to the kitchen. In a small town with no all-vegan options, we felt we lucked out on this place. We are outside in a comfortable outside dining area.
It was a simple, but deeply satisfying, lunch — pasta with marinara and a green salad with fresh pear sliced and some dried fruits, dressed with a simple olive oil, vinegar and mustard vinaigrette dressing. Sorry the pasta isn’t more perfect — we started on it before I remembered to take a picture!
