I would recommend the veggie lasagne - very filling and had some good protein from the tofu, but was a little cold and low in salt. Overall good experience and helpful server, helped my mum find a good gluten free vegan option. Also one gf vegan desert
We went for lunch and the staff were super accommodating, with all vegan options clearly listed on the menu. I ordered the Almond Orange Salad and the Seasonal Fruit Crisp. Both were delicious but not filling by any means. JJ’s should look at adding tofu / tempeh to their menu to make their vegan options more filling. Pro tip though - there’s a fry truck across the street if you need more food afterwards😉
I visited twice while on vacation in July 2018. The first time I had a take-out almond milk latte which was good. The second time we stopped in for lunch, which was disappointing. The hummus wrap was my only option. It was pre-made (which would be an issue if you didn't like a topping), small and pricey. It was served with carrot sticks and a non-vegan curry dip (which was still served even when I said I didn't need it). I have heard better reviews about the dinner menu, but I didn't have the time/desire to try.
This is the only restaurant where I saw tofu mentioned. It is a tofu/mushroom option. It was pretty good, spicy tomato sauce. And served with salad. This restaurant also has a casual coffee place that is open for lunches where you can get vegetarian wraps, sandwiches and salads to stay or to go for hiking.
