Loved!

The curries were everything we needed them to be, extensive options, filling, flavourful and cheap compared to other Indians out here.

Cheap in Pakse

The food was okay standard cheap. The plates weren't clean and i am not sure how fresh the sauces were... The second time i came the meal wasnt as good. Portion was way smaller and the guy rude. Their opening hours are wrong too they dont open untill 11am

Pros: Vegan, not to expensive

Cons: Hygiene, small serves, inconsistent

Good enough vegan food

I ate there 3 times and while it's not the best Indian food I ever had it's very cheap and filling enough. Staff knows what veganism is and told me most of the veggie items on the menu are vegan. Tried the chickpea massala, kofta, dhal and the tofu korma with chappati and it was all good.
I found myself getting a bit sick of MSG and the possibility of staff not understanding veganism after travelling Laos for 3 weeks so it was just nice not having to explain everything and eating some beans! Would recommend if you're in Pakse!

Pros: lots of vegan items on the menu, cheap, staff understands veganism

Cons: flavour , Staff seemed a bit...bored/unattentive

Great Vego indian

I’ve eaten here twice in Pakse, it’s awesome, very well priced and delicious, not really for vegans but vegetarians will be super happy. The owner is great, friendly and staff are excellent. Try the crispy roti and butter tofu! Oh - and they make a mean molai Kofta!!!

Pros: Great food, Good Price, Friendly

Nice Indian restaurant with vegetarian options

A cheap option if you're a vegetarian in Pakse as vegetarian food is Laos can sometimes. E tricky to find. Portions are big enough for one meal if you add plain rice (5,000 kips) or a naan (5.000 kips as well).
Breakfast 7AM to 11AM then lunch. Menus are different.
Highly recommended if you crave spices or a good curry!
Only con, they don't serve free water with the meal.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty, Staff speaks English

Cons: No free water

The place to be for breakfast

Very small restaurant run by a nice elderly gentleman who makes a great vegan banana pancake.
Add a little fruit salad and you have a good breakfast!
We went there in the morning and we got what I believe is the breakfast menu, which does not have many options.
The next day we went back in the afternoon and we got the regular menu which has a lot more (vegan) options. Curry, naan and rice were delicious and fresh.
Would come back here anytime

Good food and good value

Although the servings aren't too big, all veg choices are 10.000kip. We got to try a lot of choices and all vegan! The banana pancake was also vegan and delicious for breakfast. The only negative it's not a complete vegan restaurant and they do have meat choices...

Really nice

This place seems to be very popular for it was crowded when we arrived. I believe that crowded means that the food is always fresh.

The menu had a lot of meat dishes but there also were about two pages with vegetable dishes.

The owner was really nice and knows what vegan is.

The place is not exactly clean, but not too bad, really.

We had dinner there and then we also went there for breakfast, which was really nice, as they had several vegan options + we ordered some food to take away.

Pros: Tasty food, Cheap food and drinks, Nice service, nice seating area

Cons: A lot of meat dishes on the menu

Highly recommended

Pakse lacks vegan restaurants but Jasmin is a very good substitute. It has many vegan dishes in their vegetarian menu (mostly Indian food) and the staff seemed to understand what vegan means. We were told no ghe, butter, cream or other dairy products are used, only coconut milk and vegetable oil. Some Indian breads are also vegan. Prices are inexpensive, and portions are quite generous. Take out is available.

Pros: tasty, many vegan options, good value

Cons: no wifi
