I had the ‘Cheeky Monkey’ smoothie with peanut butter and banana, and boy did it hit the spot! A great place for a plant-based pick me up in the heart of the Central Markets. It’s the big pink place, you can’t miss it.

Adelaide Central Markets Favourite - Edit
Every time I am in the ADL Central Markets, I make sure to visit Jamu. It is a cute lil store that you won’t miss - it’s bright pink! It’s my favourite colour so no wonder it caught my eye.

A great refreshing choice is the “Up Beet” cold pressed juice mix. I usually have this or the “Eclipse” mix. For smoothies, the Salty Caramel is a must-try.
There are areas to sit at if you’d like to but their drinks are great to have in hand as you explore the Central Markets and surround. The ambience is always cheery and the staff are super friendly.
The serving sizes are quite small considering the price (S $5, L $8 for juices) but as the ingredients used are fresh, one might say it’s worth it!
Overall, it’s a lovely lil joint that’s a great place to meet friends at before embarking on your casual local fruit and veg shop. I recommend giving them a visit.

An oasis in the market is Jamu. Great juices, smoothies and raw treats are what you will enjoy here. Lots of other healthy treats like Kombucha, fruits, frozen juices and non-dairy milks. So happy I found this place!!
