Yum - Edit
What a great little place tucked in Wholefoods.
Read moreA little bit of Glasgow to be found as they use daring food and lunch was fab.
We shared chips and dips with a great salsa. I had ten breakfast burrito which I wish somewhere in Scotland would try. Better hall had the pollo burrito which she loved and the wean had a buffalo flower tacos which was spicy and messy as hell.
When you live in Scotland food like this is heaven, margarita action was rip top.
Pros: Food, Staf, Bevvie

Delicious - Edit
This place is so cute and the food is delicious. It is one of those places where you have to ask is it vegan because everything is just so good. It is inside the Whole Foods. There is some indoor seating (about 4 booths) which was nice because when I went it was too hot outside for me. The place is extremely cute and the prices are unbelievable for NYC. It was a nice surprise. We walked here after viewing the edge. It is about a 3 minute walk from the Edge and The Vessel.

Good Mexican food at northern end of High Line - Edit
This branch of Jajaja is located in a Whole Foods store. As with the other Jajaja branches, the food here is really good, and this place has the best vegan food within about a 10-block radius. However, if you are making a special trip, you should know that the other two NYC branches of Jajaja have a far more elegant/relaxed elegance and thus are preferable to this branch.
Read morePros: Good, healthy food, near the High Line
Cons: Not elegant, paper-carton dishes, plastic cutlery

Pretty good! - Edit
Got the rainbow chard bowl and it was pretty good! Definitely more of a salad than a bowl, but I’m not complaining!! Awesome people and great service too😄

Better than fast food. - Edit
The food here was utterly great, we went twice while in NYC. Not the best service though.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food - Edit
So glad I made the effort to go to and find this place. It is a little hard to find as it's tucked in a corner of the food court area in whole foods market, but once you're there you don't feel like your in a supermarket. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a hard time choosing what to have as there is SO much on the menu. I'd love to go there with a big group of people and order loads of dishes to share.
Read moreI went for the banana blossom tacos which were insanely good and nice and spicy and I also ordered the tamale as I'd never had one before. I wasn't so keen on the tamale but I don't think that was down to how it was made at all, just not my thing. My 11mo on the other hand loved it! I also got the churros as I couldn't resist and they were incredible. The coconut dip that came with them... Wow 😍 #Veganuary
Pros: So many options, All vegan, Friendly staff
Cons: A bit expensive

Spectacular Mexican vegan food! - Edit
Jajaja is a local chain with locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's INSIDE the Whole Foods near Hudson Yards, on the 2nd floor.
Read moreAll vegan, all Mexican, mostly gluten free. Allergens are marked on the menu. I've been to all their locations, and they're all great, but this is my favorite. Every one of their tacos is delicious - I've tried them all. Soft corn tortillas, and fillings from jackfruit to banana blossoms to sweet potato and avocado. Sauces are super flavorful without being too spicy. The few truly spicy items are labelled as such. The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the cookies.
If you're visiting NYC, this is just one subway stop away from Times Square. It's near the mall at Hudson Yards, the "Vessel" (giant bird's nest looking thing you can walk up and into, which gives you an overview of the neighborhood), and the waterfront.
Pros: Affordable, Gluten-free options, Great location by Hudson Yards
Cons: Very few gluten-free desserts

Incredible - Edit
All Vegan Mexican. I got the cauliflower tacos and guacamole/chips and it was so flavorful. They gave enough red, white, and blue tortilla chips for at least 3 people. The only downside was that it was located inside a Whole Foods where you have to endure the sights and smells of dead animals. I hope this place is successful enough to branch out into a stand alone store one day.

Definitely recommend - Edit
The restaurant is 100% vegan and the food there is amazing! I had the verde enchilada and I loved it a lot! I also liked the fresh fruit juices. Jajaja was difficult to find since it’s located inside a Whole Foods. Other than that, the quality of food is 10/10!

Worth checking out - Edit
Once you find it (inside the Whole Foods I the food hall area), it’s in a nice quiet corner. Good sized menu and portions (at least the burrito and nachos we ordered). Wasn’t a fan of the spicy birria tacos so wouldn’t order those again. Service was quick and pleasant!

You need to try this place! - Edit
Forget about the food (is great) but the drinks my friends! THE DRINKS! and the desserts! THE DESSERTS!
Read moreSorry, I’m yelling.
The only down side is the location. Not that is bad one is just INSIDE the Whole Foods Market (second floor) and nowhere you’ll read that. So you put your Happy Cow to work and “get directions” but you’ll be walking in circles for a while. I hope this will help fellow vegans to get faster.
Pros: The drinks , The desserts , The food
Cons: The Google maps going crazy on you.
