Was here in March 2022 - Edit
Can confirm this spot was open at least in March 2022. Vegetarian with great options for a rolled up malawah. Highly recommend for anyone that also hasn’t tried Malawah before - it is a must try in the shuk!

Authentic and delicious - Edit
The pita is fresh, being made in front of your eyes. Vegan is easy, just say "all vegan topics" and you'll get what you want. Big plus is that it's open all the time, even during shabbat. Pricing is also fair
Read morePros: open during shabbat, delicious and fresh, location is good
Cons: no toilet

Small street food shop with limited seating in a lively neighbourhood. I had the melawach with vegan fillings and it was definitely full of taste and filling!

So fun! - Edit
I recommend you to watch how other people order their wraps before you order your own. There are a few add-ons that you can choose from, but you would Not now necessarily. Make sure you tell them no eggs! I think there are a few other things on the menu, but everybody goes for the wraps, which are delicious.

Pros: Fun to watch!
Cons: Tiny, Limited options

Yum! - Edit
I really liked this Jahnun! It was super tasty. The downside was that it is pretty greasy and not that filling. I ate two and felt a little ill. But as a snack it would be great!

Good - Edit
It was good, but not amazing - for the price I’d rather spend half and just eat falafel. Guy working at the time didn’t understand vegan so another customer had to translate for me to be sure. 3 1/2 stars would be more accurate.

Awesome rolls - Edit
We took a recommendation by the guy at the counter and it turned out to be an awesome choice. A big roll with lot of veggies - raw and fried along with optional boil egg, tahini and hummus. Worth the price

Yeminite Vegetarian Food, new location - Edit
This restaurant is now open on Shabbat (definitely during the day on Saturday and likely Friday night - call for hours).
Read moreThey are ALL VEGETARIAN now and proudly state it on a big sign in their window.
This is the most unusual food we had in Jerusalem and is wonderful. The worker suggested their specialty, the Malawach sandwich, which is a wrap made on homemade circular bread that is then filled with your choice of delicious vegetarian toppings. This is a small place and seating is mainly outside but I highly recommend this if you want something unique and delicious.

Superb Malawach wrap - Edit
I had the Memu Lawach with vegan fillings, after the owner recommended it.
Read moreIt was super soft and delicious.
Please mention that you only want vegan toppings while placing the order.
5/5 stars from me, but apparently 5 stars can only be given to fully vegan and vegetarian restaurants, so 4 it is.
Pros: Great prices, Friendly staff, Outdoor seating
Cons: Egg and Tuna on the menu

No words can describe how delicious this sandwich was - Edit
From the photo, it doesn't look that special but this was definitely the best meal I had while in Israel. Every time I go back to Jerusalem I go straight here and order the Malawach. You can customize your wrap with any of their toppings. Fresh ingredients and delicious bread made from scratch! Do not miss! (Would rate 5 stars if possible)
