Gimmie dat dim sum - Edit
We ordered 5 of the dim sum items and they were all outstanding. We used to be devotees to Ichiza and every time I would order all of the dumpling options, it's sick that they focus on it. Also, the crab Rangoon is nuts.

Cute place! - Edit
The bunnny dumplings are so cute. The noodle soup was also delicious. The soup is very large with a nice amount of spicy😄

Amazing Vegan Dim Sum - Edit
Just discovered this place and definitely need to go back for more. Lots of dim sum choices as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Their “infamous chili oil sauce” is yummy and available to purchase in a jar to take home. Everything was delicious. Even with the fillings being similar between items, there was enough variety in each one that they each tasted unique. Limited outdoor seating.

Jade Rabbit Won't Be a Habit - Edit
We tried five items. The Bawan Buns looked more impressive than they tasted. They were kind of bland, and I didn't really like the squishy consistency from the tapioca. I did not like the gelatinous sauce on the Bean Curd Skin Rolls. However, I did like the garlic vinegar sauce for the Cantonese Siu Mai dumplings. The Lo Mai Gai were difficult to remove from the lotus leaves. I didn't try the house chili oil because I have a low spice tolerance, and the Lo Mai Gai tasted flavorless without it. The Lumpia reminded me of an egg roll. The banana chili sauce overpowered all the other ingredients. Overall, I wouldn't order any of these dishes again, but I would consider trying others. However, I was extremely disappointed by how much plastic was used for our order; even moreso when I remembered Jade Rabbit only offers takeout.

Great Noodles! - Edit
I ate the food quite a bit of time after it was delivered, reheated on the microwave, which is not good for fried or steamed items, so my take on the starters might be off. The dumpling was too thick, with very little filling and no veggies at all, making it very bland. Lo Mai Gai smelled amazing with the mushrooms, but the taste was rather bland as well. The turnip cake tasted mostly just of oil. The sauces didn't help much.
Read moreI also had the Mami, a soup with thick noodles that was excellent. The texture of the noodles was just perfect, with crunchy spring onions and the broth was packed with flavor. The chicken pieces in it smelled and tasted great too.

Fav Portland Resturant - Edit
My mouth just started watering even thinking of this place. Everything I’ve tried from here has been superb! So packed with flavor and very unique. We always get the same order which is: 2 orders of chili wontons (trust me you don’t wanna share), adobe chicken (my personal fav), and the hubs gets a noodle soup. I’ve also tried their fiery chicken, and siu mai which were great as well. I’ve never brought anyone to this restaurant who didn’t love it either!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. - Edit
Literally one of my favorite veggie restaurants in the world. Hadn’t been in over a year (pandemic), but took a road trip to Portland this weekend and realized they’d relocated to a new neighborhood - so, if you can believe it, it’s even better! It’s now in a quiet neighborhood with lovely trees, flowers, and birds singing while you eat outside. So peaceful. And the food...well, amazing, as always. If I lived in Portland, it would be very hard for me to eat anywhere else! Thank you to all those who make Ichiza Kitchen what it is. You are doing so much right!!

A Portland classic - Edit
This place is highly rated on Happy Cow and rightly so. I've had most of their menu and you really can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. They serve their take on an eclectic best-of of various Asian cuisines with a delicious emphasis on dim sum. Order one of your go-tos while branching out and trying something new. Will continue to come back here especially when I'm going to treat myself!

Amazing food - Edit
This place was just awesome. I rarely ever get to go to vegan restaurants and it did not disappoint. They are very cautious letting people in to dine and even check your temperature before you are seated. They were only taking reservations, but we lucked out and got a seat just in time.

My favorite vegan place - Edit
I was so excited when I found out Ichiza was moving to my neighborhood. Honestly my favorite vegan restaurant in a city full of great choices. All the small plates are delish and the tea service is amazing (love Blue People). They just opened limited inside seating and it's the first place I've eaten inside in 7 months. Highly recommend.

Yummy, tiny food - Edit
I've only had their takeout (oh, COVID, you devil) and it's yummy, but small portions😒I've had their food only twice, but both times I was a little disappointed because of the small portions of their main dishes/the large price.

Spicy chicken on point! - Edit
We ordered the noodles soup, the mapo tofu and the spicy chicken. Our favorite: the spicy chicken, totally worthy, my husband said it's the best vegan dish he had ever tried. Highly recommend.

I had the fire chicken here and it was to die for. The mapo tofu was also reported to me as great. BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATION. Great use of cucumber, sesame, and green onion. The fire chicken came with kimchi which was a . Not for the faint of heart.

Yum - Edit
Always enjoy the creative dishes served here! Great flavor in all dishes, some of it seemed almost too cute to eat ☺️Especially think the meat alternatives here would be great for someone transitioning to a vegan diet. Some of the faux meat was a tad too real for me.

The food was amazing! Take the spice level seriously though; my friend and I got the spiciest level and it was very yummy. 100% suggest the Mapo Tofu. Don’t forget to ask for utensils!!!

Unreal ❤️ - Edit
We had the chicken herb ramen bowl they split it for me and hubs. The chicken tasted like bbq chicken. We had the three little dumplings, chrysanthem tea pot and a piece of cheese cake. The whole meal was a work of art. We loved it. Can’t wait to return. The service was also excellent!

Awesome, totally vegan spot! - Edit
What an awesome little gem tucked-away in Goose Hollow. Food was absolutely spectacular, as was the service. It's a bit small and maybe slightly pricey, but it's worth the wait and the cost. Love it. Will be back again and again. A nice plus is that it's right next door to Vtopia, so you can go shop for vegan cheeses before or after your meal.

A perfect blend of good food and experience. We put our name on the list and waited roughly 1.5 hours. Worth the wait. We ordered 3 dishes and some jasmine tea. The whole atmosphere and tea practice was integral to the meal. Everything tasted phenomenal and we left quite satisfied.
