Vegan izakaya - Edit
The food here was great!! And the service was very fast. I tried the fried maitake mushrooms, spicy noodles, and salted onigiri, and all were amazing (but especially the fried maitake mushrooms)! It also has a nice location in a shopping area, so there's plenty to do nearby.
Read moreThe only con was that there are only a few seats inside so there was a wait when I went (around the dinner rush). But the line moves relatively quickly, and the food is well worth the wait in my opinion.
Pros: Amazing food , All vegan , Nice atmosphere
Cons: Might be a wait

I recommend the Karaage - Edit
When we tried to visit during rush hours, the queue outside was way too long. The day after we went for lunch and we could sit inside immediately.

Finally a normal izakaya with vegan food - Edit
Damn good kara-age. Standard izakaya vibes. Not a fancy hip place like most vegan restaurants.

Great food, lots of options - Edit
I was really looking forward to this place and was not disappointed! Would recommend coming early because there is limited seating. You order via scanning a QR code on your phone and choosing what you want. The drinks were really good and we loved the karaage (wish we could go back to try more of the sauce flavors) and the tempura green beans. It is izakaya food so come prepared to eat lots of small fried dishes.

Delicious Karaage - Edit
We ordered the “mixed meal” set which included gyoza, karaage, rice, clear soup, and some pickled vegetable. The set cost around 1100 yen. The whole meal was so good, but the karaage was especially delicious! This izakaya is located in the basement floor of a mall.

Visit for the karrage - Edit
Didn’t need to wait, around 1pm on week day. Last orders for lunch 2:30. Nice brown rice with beans. Tofu dish was nice, soup good. Gyoza we’re okay but it’s all about the karrage with spicy sichuan sauce which was mind blowingly good

Best lunch - Edit
This is a small place with a lot of heart. The food was absolutely amazing! I got the mix set with the teriyaki mayo and it was so delicious. We also went here for lunch, and could immediately be seated. Prices are fair considering location and popularity. I’d happily revisit.

Turned us away - Edit
The restaurant was scheduled to close at 3pm. We showed up at 2.30pm and were told they were already closed. We had made a special trip to Shibuya to visit them.

Yummy!! - Edit
Really yummy spot. I managed to get a table without a wait as I went early. The karaage is some of the best I have had. Only rating it a 4 as some of the sides were a bit average (tofu noodles weren't great) but overall, really yum!!

Fried food for people who hate themselves and their taste buds - Edit
Let me start this review by saying that I generally don’t like eating fried & comfort food. However, I think fried food can also be tasty. In this particular instance, it wasn’t. We tried three dishes: gyoza, maitake and karage. The gyoza was sad and tasteless, the karage was essentially just a ball of oil, and the maitake tasted like oil and salt. The best thing served was the free water.

Get there before 7! - Edit
Even though everywhere says its open until 10, we got there at 7pm and after writing our name down the staff put out a sign saying full so we were the last ones allowed in three hours before they apparently close. Really long wait to get in. The karage was nice but everything was super oily and the mapo tofu and gyoza were so bland. It was really expensive too for what you got

Honest Review - Do Not Waste Your Time - Edit
Don't waste your time. We got there at 7pm, waited until 7:45pm to be seated (if we had been 5 minutes later, we would have waited another 45 minutes, as people behind us did). They were out of the cold tofu noodles, spicy tofu noodles, dumplings (really? that's a main menu item), glass noodles. Food came about 30-45 minutes, so we didn't end up eating until 8:30pm. The garage was fine but nothing super special as I was expecting from the comments. Was literally dripping with oil. The rest of the food (fried broccoli, minced pork with rice [luorfan], tofu mapu and potato fries) were all fine, but not worth the 1.5 hour wait. I think the 1.5 hour wait is pretty typical, as there were not many people in the restaurant aside from us, so it wasn't like it was a crazy busy night. Would recommend other vegan places in the area (Falafel Brothers) or finding someplace else. Took most of our night and we didn't get to see as much of Shibuya as we wanted, which is a very cool place.

Wow the food was delicious! We had the cucumber salad, soy karaage (must have!!!), spicy tofu noodles, and 'pork' rice. Brought my omni partner here and he was super impressed. They take credit cards too which was convenient.

Delicious, fun, all vegan, but long wait times - Edit
This is a small izakaya in the basement of of the Shibuya Parco. There are a lot of restaurants down here. This place is a gem.
Read moreThe whole menu is vegan and it's open later than most places. However the wait time was awful. We waited for almost an hour and a half to be seated and they cut off the reservations like 4 groups after us.
Unfortunately, the problem was foreigners. The seating is very limited. There were two gentlemen in there who were talking, eating a bit, and filming themselves. They were there when we first got in line and when we were finishing up inside. Eventually asked to leave because a generous seating time limit is posted, but these two chose to ignore it. There was another group of 4 who had finished their meal and drinks and chose to sit there taking up 4 seats for over an hour. Seating time limits are a thing for popular places, so everyone just needs to follow the rules.
You can order from your table using the app. It's very convenient. We got a bunch of dishes to share like the bamboo shoots, spicy potato wedges, fried asparagus, macaroni salad, takoyaki style karaage, and drinks. It was all a very reasonable price.
My sister thought the karaage and the bamboo sprouts were saltier than needed, but I loved it.
Pros: all vegan, cheap, delicious
Cons: long wait time, might be too salty for some

Solid meal - Edit
I really enjoyed my meal here, however, they unfortunately were sold out of a lot of food when we came. We were in at 6:30 and they had no noodles, gyoza, tofu etc. Which was a bit of a shame. The food we had was delicious - I especially loved the Mac salad. I didn't like the fermented rice ballz that just tasted of nothing. The karaage was so yum but after eating it I felt a bit sick (from all the grease?) So if you have a sensitive tummy maybe limit yourself, as I am usually fine with these things. Overall, I really liked it but disappointed I wasn't able to try most of the dishes I was hoping.
