Cried when I had my first bite - Edit
We had the mapo tofu, the karage (with teriyaki mayo) and the gyozas. The karage was to die for the sauce was amazing. The mapo tofu didn’t taste that traditional but honestly meant that I liked it better, and the gyozas were pretty good also.

Love the izakaya Ambience & fun - Edit
As a foreigner vegetarian, I Love the experience and ambience! Fun to have Izakaya with friends. It’s a small restaurant. Please head there earlier (avoid peak hours) as seats get snatch up fast (I saw handful people waiting outside for seats while dining).
Read moreThe food tasted delicious, they serve alcohol too. Also, my Japanese non veg friends approved too 😁 I want to go back again!
💸 My bill: ~ 150sgd for 6 pax

The most authentic feeling vegan I always we found and the food was top notch. Everything we ordered was class but the karage was next level,

Absolutely amazing karaage - Edit
Not every dish was an absolute winner, but the karaage was exceptional and absolutely worth the visit.
Read moreGinger cucumber - 4/5 - surprisingly good and refreshing.
Gyoza - 3/5 - not bad, just a little bland, might skip for something else next time.
Karaage - 5/5 - I got the spicy Sichuan sauce and my wife got the yuzu mayonnaise. I thought both were great although she said she liked mine more.
The line got loooong after we left, so get there early to beat the rush.
Pros: Karaage
Cons: Ambiance was a little no frills, Gyoza was just fine, but nothing special

Karaage a definite highlight - Edit
I’ve been here multiple times over the years and I can still say this is the best vegan karaage I’ve ever had. Recently they’ve limited their lunch menu and made some items no longer available which is a shame (I really liked their oden) but I still highly recommend to anyone in Tokyo.
Read moreThe gyoza is okay, but I wish they had put more “meat” inside of it.
Also, the atmosphere is a little bit bare and the lights are bit a bright for going out on a weekend.

The best vegan karaage!! - Edit
Went here recently on my trip to tokyo after seeing the reviews and it did not disappoint!! I went with my non vegan friend and they also said it was the best they had eaten. I would recommend the vegan karaage chicken and the deep fried mushrooms. Wish I had more time to try the dumplings as well.

Love this place! - Edit
I went here with a group of my friends and it was amazing!! I got the fried soy meat balls with the Szechuan pepper sauce and the cucumber salad and both were fantastic. My boyfriend also got the fried soy meat balls but with the tartar sauce. The tartar sauce taste very eggy and creamy but still vegan! AThe Szechuan sauce it a little spicy btw but yummy.

Non-vegan husband loved it - Edit
A queue of locals was forming outside when we left - that's how good this place is.
Read moreWe enjoyed a range of different dishes. The tofu meat karaage was particularly amazing! My non-vegan husband remarked "why would you eat meat if you can eat this?" It was great to have a wide choice of vegetables.
We were there for dinner, but the lunch menu even listed the CO2 emissions savings, which is pretty neat.
There's also a ramen place with great vegan options on the same floor of the building, so there's another option nearby just in case. And the roof garden at the top of the building offers great views!

Izakaya vegan - Edit
Très bonne adresse vegan à Tokyo. L'ambiance n'est pas vraiment celle d'un izakaya typique (dans une galerie commerciale et avec beaucoup de touristes comme nous) mais on y va surtout pour les gyozas et le tofu frit :)

Tasty and Filling - Edit
Queued for half an hour or so before we were seated. You order through a qr code. We could only order the lunch set menu which you could customise slightly on the website and change the sauce etc. We both had the karage and gyoza set meal with rice and soup. We were served quickly. The food was tasty and filling but wasn't mind blowing. I've had better gyoza and karage in Japan. The soup was one of the better ones we've had though. With all of that said, I do appreciate being catered to with a vegan restaurant in such a touristy bit of Tokyo.

Expensive and slow but Karaage was TASTY - Edit
I was so curious about this place but I think I hyped it up too much in my mind. We waited 1.5 hours on a Tuesday evening to go in and they’d sold out of lots of things already. It seems the line moves so slow as there is no time limit rule (eg. 90 mins max) like other places. When we got inside people were chatting without any food in front of them who’d been in there before we even put our name on the list. However, the Karaage was tasty and the maitake was delicious. It just gave me a slow, expensive tourist place vibe… a bowl of plain white rice for 400yen… I’m glad I went but once was enough.

Best vegan karaage in Tokyo - Edit
The spicy karaage is a must try! The gyoza was good but not mind blowing. Some people reviewed about a long wait, but I came here around 12.30pm and it was half empty, got served right away and food came out quick. Would love to come back and try more items.

Bursting with flavor - Edit
Cute place at a food hall in the basement of a mall, in typical Japanese style all shops are well designed and has a very vibrant atmosphere. Wait seemed long, but went by quickly. We arrived at 7 an already a few items were sold out. Had the spicy soup, which bursted with a peppery flavor, the soy balls were delicious and the cucumber salad was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Amazing! - Edit
Downstairs in a shopping mall. It’s a small place with not much seating and seems to frequently have a line. I can see why because the food is amazing, especially the Karage. If you’re in the area and looking for a cheaper vegan meal, this is your place!

Best karaage ever - Edit
A little hard to find but well worth the effort, it’s located on the B1 level of the Parco building in Shibuya. Delicious food, I had karaage, gyoza and the macaroni salad, highly rate the karaage definitely the best I have had. Lovely place with great service and ambience, kind staff.
