Great food - Edit
An all vegan Izakaya in the B1 floor of Shibuyas Parco! You sit on little tables and order smaller dishes via the menu on your smartphone. You sometimes have to wait outside for an empty table.
Read moreIt has it all: vegan karaage, gyoza, fried mushrooms, mapo tofu. Really good food and nice servers!

Amazing food - Edit
It’s on level B1 of the Parco mall. We waited 45 mins to get a table (arrived around 7.45 pm) but it was totally worth it. It’s a low key, chill place.

Solid AF and still deserving of your attention - Edit
We were in Tokyo for a night and decided to come back and eat here again, as we enjoyed it so much during our first time in Tokyo and even went to have it a second time during that same trip but we were rejected at the door, as we just weren’t quick enough to get our names on that waiting list.
Read moreLast night however was a much more chill experience, we walked in and were seated immediately (we got there at 6:45) and the food we ordered came out equally as quick. It was AWESOME! So many small items to pick at and each one of them was delicious. I personally recommend the karaage with yuzu sauce, that [censored] slapped so hard ❤️🔥🔥🔥
Unfortunately not a lot of pics because every time we go to these incredible restaurants the food is already in our bellies by the time we remember to get a photo.
Pros: Yuzu karaage , Heaps of variety , Quick service and turnaround

Words cannot describe how amazing the Kara-age tasted. In 4 days, we came here 3 times just to try different variants. I personally recommend the ones with yuzu. Also try the fried mushrooms if you have a big appetite. There’s free water but limited seating

Totally vegan Izakaya - Edit
Amazing all vegan food that's really delicious. Had the gyōza, the spicy karage and the mapo tofu, which were all so delicious. Went alone one time, which was absolutely fine and chill, and once with a non vegan friend who also really enjoyed it!

Nice food but not as good as reputation - Edit
We came on a Friday evening, had to queue for around 20 minutes, you write your name down on a piece of paper for the queue so that process was very easy.
Read moreI was disappointed with the meal but that’s because I had heard such good things, it was still a nice meal and a good choice if you are in/near Shibuya.
You order lots of small plates. Some of the things we had:
- Cucumber salad - delicious, surprisingly the best thing on the menu
- Karaage - if you used to like eating pork, get this, very good imitation
- Braised bamboo shoots - didn’t realise these would come cold, very tasty
- Fried mushrooms - absolutely horrible, would strongly avoid

Sensational Food! - Edit
We visited for lunch, which meant we had to order a lunch set and there were a few options. My partner got the mapo tofu and I got the karaage set. Both came with rice, a tasty soup, and some pickles. The mapo tofu was really special, with plenty of tofu, flavoursome meat, and a great taste - though he wished it were a bit spicier and more tingly. The karaage was fantastic, I could eat it every day! The coating was crisp and the texture was incredible. I've had a lot of mock chicken, and this was right up there with the best. There were a few choices of sauce and I chose the yuzu and pepper mayo which was just incredible, really zingy and tasty.
Read moreThere's free, cold water at the counter. We had to order through a QR code and then pay at the counter. There's plenty of English info about the menu, and we managed everything very easily with no Japanese.

Best food I've had in Japan so far. Ordering the karaage is a must. Also had the maitake and it was pretty tasty. I only waited 15 minutes to get seated, which is not too bad, got there at 7:30. Service was quick too.

Best Izakaya Award - Edit
Absolutely amazing izakaya, which we always make a point to visit when we're in Tokyo. As others say, the lines can get long and there's limited room inside (maybe 4 small tables, 2 benches, and a small bar) and so if you're not willing to risk not getting in, I would show up earlier rather than later. Also, they stop taking food orders before they actually close, so don't shop up 10 minutes before closing time.
Read moreOn to the food: I'm in love with their karaage, which they continuously change the sauces, but at all times have several to choose from. My current faves are terimayo and tartar. The chinese style tofu is soft and spicy, and the szechuan pickles in chili oil are also a must for a slightly crunchy oily spicy dish.
I've tried basically every dish, and the only one I've ever not liked was the NOT shrimp. The sauce was too heavy on the tomato, and the texture of the "shrimps" was too chewy. Anything else I recommend going for.
I recommend the lemon shochu, which you squeeze yourself. It's has no sugar added, so it's just a tart (to your liking) drink.

What a pleasure - Edit
Couldn’t get enough. In the end, a third round was necessary. Not for our stomachs but to satisfy our curiosity. So many options available. Some of the best fried vegan food I ever ate. The mushrooms were especially delicious.

Tasty and authentic food - Edit
Went here for lunch and it was really tasty, with quick service. I would recommend arriving when lunch/dinner service starts as they had sold out of lots of the options quickly! I'd recommend the lemon drink too - so good! As others have mentioned, it's in the basement of the shopping mall along with lots of other restaurants, but it's not tricky to find.

Excellent food; friendly staff; relaxed atmosphere - Edit
I was so glad to be able to try a vegan version of Japanese "karage". And there were several kinds to choose from. I got the citrus onion and loved it. The gyoza were delicious too. Even my non-vegan friends enjoyed all the food.
Read moreI'd happily eat there again.
To help others find it, here are some tips: it's on the basement floor (B1) level of the Parco shopping mall. You can take an elevator or escalator down there. The restaurant is at the bottom of the escalator and if you take the elevator, turn right out of the elevator and the right again. You will see it on the right.

Very good vegan karaage. - Edit
First time I ate here was three years ago and didn’t think was excellent. Because all their food was too oily and take out food wasn’t very pleasant (like everytime i did take out my bag was full of oil ). But then this year I went three times and the food improved a lot.

Nice to Have Vegan Izakaya Option, but Pricey - Edit
There were several options on the food menu, and it was nice to know they were all vegan. We made the mistake of going on an empty stomach, and we realized we would have run up a huge tab if we had gotten all of the things we wanted. But based on reviews I had seen, we had to be there relatively early to get it, so it was kind of goofy with the meal times in our day. We got there around 530ish, and had to wait about half an hour to get in. The gyoza were fairly good, and the salted onigiri were good, but quite pricey considering the ingredients. Again, a nice experience, and maybe we would have enjoyed it more if we were in snack mode and wanted more fried foods to pick at, but not our favorite option for similar foods.
