Organic store with a tea bar a few doors down. Store sells a selection of loose leaf tea (some local) plus vegan and organic soap and shampoo, chocolate, snacks and crackers. Tea bar offerings some vegan desserts. Location is on the back side of the Targovni Ryad mall; there is a street along the back entrance. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

A good find

I liked the desserts and occasional vegan quiche at this cafe. Unfortunately the cafe is no longer running, just the little store. You can still buy some vegan cosmetics and snacks at the store, although a lot of the sweets have honey. Rumor is that the vegan desserts from the cafe will be sold in a new smoothie shop opening in the same location as the former cafe.

Happy surprise in Russia! (café and store)

The place has a warm and inviting atmosphere with big windows that look to a pedestrian street.

One of the amazing things about this café is that they strive to not be a kind of vegan fast food. The people running it collect and research lots of wild herbs and use them to create cakes, teas, juices. Be prepared to impress your tasty buds. I had a juice made of pine 'leaves' and ginger, a 'coffee' made of roots and barks, a lemon cake, and took some cookies for the train trip.
By the quality of the dishes, the care for the place, and the goodwill of the people working there you can feel how much love they invest on it. After the stop at the café, remember to visit their store (just a few steps ahead) and be amazed again about their selection of products.
