Amazing vegan rendang - Edit
The restaurant is not fully vegan but most of the dishes have a vegan and vegetarian option. I tried their beef rendang, it was superb. Very tasty and well presented. Place is big and with a very nice vibe and decor

Nice little restaurant in Canngu with a good vegan selection. I had the vegan Caesar salad which was really tasty and came with so much tofu so very good value!

Fusion for some Spanish home taste - Edit
Had a milkshake and Spanish style of potato. The mayo mixed with chili sauce taste like the Japanese cod roe paste. Super enjoy the flavor!

Delicious Indonesian vegan food! - Edit

Nice food near the beach - Edit
A beautiful place with multiple vegan options. You get the food on big wooden chunks, really nice vibes. The Indonesian food was in most cases vegan. Definitely Check it out when you finished surfing

Cute venue, alright food - Edit
Lovely venue but a little hit and miss with the food. The Love Indonesia plate was amazing with the vegetable fritters and fried tempeh, but the gado gado was a little bland with its peanut sauce. Service friendly but a bit on the slow side. Outdoor seating which was super cute, but when it rained it poured and you’ll have to move to limited seating.

Cons: Gado gado a little bland

Fantastic experience - Edit
This was my favourite meal in Canggu. Most of the menu is vegan/vegetarian, and both are clearly marked. There's a good amount of vegan options, including Indonesian food.
Read moreWe had 'Love Indonesia' (fried tempeh, salt fried noodles, vegetable fritters with chilli soy sauce) and an 'Ubud Bowl' (sweet potato, pumpkin, mushrooms, beetroot, onion, kale, roasted chickpeas, and parsley tahini and lime dressing). Both were delicious.
You can quite easily miss this place as it's above another restaurant, up a flight of steps to the right. They also have a terrace up another flight of steps with views of the sea.
NOTE: Ithaka is definitely not $$$! $$ at max. Check the menu on their website, which is very clear.
Pros: Friendly staff, Incredible food, Great location, close to the sea

Great place - Edit
One of the only non fully vegan places I went in Canggu because there is so much other fully vegan places to go but I was really surprised by the understanding and amount of options for vegans. Would recommend and come again.

Great location and atmosphere but limited vegan options - Edit
I definitely wouldn’t return here to eat.
Read moreMany of the vegan options marked on the menu are not vegan which I found very frustrating. I always check when ordering and despite marked vegan on the menu I was informed that many actually contain egg or milk.
I had the pumpkin soup which had a nice flavour but was a thick mashed pumpkin consistency which I didn’t expect. Portion was small and a small slice of bread to accompany was an extra charge.
The location and atmosphere tonight (Saturday night) was awesome due to live beachside music playing next door.
Cash only
Pros: Super location - roof top views, Awesome Saturday night vibe - live music nextdoor
Cons: Vegan options marked incorrectly on menu , Limited vegan options available , Inattentive staff

Beautiful view and good food - Edit
Very cute restaurant with a wonderful view! They offer lots of vegan options which all sounded pretty delicious. We decided on the vegan nasi goreng and mie goreng as well as two juices. We paid around 150k which is super cheap compared to other restaurants near by.

Great restaurant. Nice eating area, up high, over looking the area. I'm a little obsessed with tempeh and they have a couple of good dishes with it.

Great vegan options in Canggu - Edit
We are at Ithaka several times during our stay in Canggu. They offer several vegan options on their menu and others can be customised to be vegan. Items are clearly labelled on the menu as vegan, or vegan-option available. We also found it to be reasonably priced, and the staff are super friendly which is a plus.
Read moreVegan options include: ‘Balinese breakfast’, smoothie bowls, fruit salad, avo toast (remove egg), curries, soups, nasi gorang/gado gado (no egg) and custom made wraps/sandwiches made with tempeh!
They also let you refill your water bottles for free which is a great step in reducing your plastic consumption!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Water refills, Reasonably priced

Delicious Blaine’s food - Edit
Nice little restaurant that has a lot of vegan options and what tries to minimise the plastic use. They marked all the vegan and vegetarian options. The used beautiful wooden plates and Bamboo straws. We really enjoyed our time even though it is not totally vegan but at least they try to have a big range of vegan options and I am pretty sure they will be fully vegan someday. Till than I am happy to support them with order the vegan food☺️
