Traditional Japanese tea house offering many different Japanese teas. Each tea comes with a small, traditional, sweet dessert (wagashi) which is vegan. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-5:00pm. Kaboku Tearoom inside the store is open from 10AM - 6PM.

Interesting tea - Edit
This is a nice place, but the tea is kind of expensive. I have never had straight matcha before. It is bitter. It was unique. The waitstaff is very friendly. To get the tea, enter through the automatic doors, and go to the room in the back right. It wasn’t obvious to me when I entered.

Peaceful tea house. Teas cost from 600 yen and come with a small dessert. Very yummy and a good place to get out of the weather.

Beautiful tea house and shop - Edit
Excellent tea as well as kind and patient service. I was pleasantly surprised when the server asked us directly for any food allergies/restrictions. My mother and I were served delicious japanese vegan sweets with our flavorful matcha tea. My father also enjoyed his Houjicha, which the server helped him to steep to his liking. The gyokura and matcha are very reasonably priced, especially compared to U.S. prices!
