amazing place ❤️ - Edit
We had a great (english) guided tour here with many information about the sanctuary and the animals there.
Read moreIt opens my heart to see so called “farm animals” living here finally in peace.
Many of them come from factory farms and have made horrible experiences.
For me as a city-kid and surely for all people who love animals it’s a great experience getting in touch with pigs and co. I loved to pet them ❤️
I highly recommend visiting the sanctuary and donating for the great work of the volunteers!
Pros: Getting in touch with “farm” animals , interesting information , lovely volunteers

Oasi - Edit

Beautiful Sancturary with many animals to visit - Edit
Guided tours giving you a lot of information about the animals (cows, horses, goats, pigs, wild hogs, chicken, ducks, sheeps) that could have been saved from the farming industry and insights into the industry. We spent a wonderful time there getting to know some of the personalities living there. If you are near, you really should go there. The tour takes approx. 2 or 2.5 hours. Don‘t forget to donate as the sancutary and the animals living there depend on donations. Perfect also for families with children. But we as a couple also had a perfect time there it‘s ideal for everyone loving animals.

Fantastic place! - Edit
I visited this sanctuary with two friends of mine working here as volunteers. The guided visit is very pleasant, the owner of the fields presents the history of each animal we meet, in this vast place where many species live together in a peaceful way. Guided visits are in Italian only but they last 2 hours. It is very pleasant to see such happy animals here: cow, dogs, horses, goats, sheeps, fowls, pigs, ducks... Amazing to see them live.
Read morePros: antispecist, helpful for animals, happy animals, guided visits (only in Italian), volunteer-based

Amazing experience - Edit
I have been (and still am) volunteering for Ippoasi since September 2015. The sanctuary is a magical place, a safe haven for the 80 animals living there and for the volunteers working many hours to keep the project alive.
Read moreI highly recommend the guides visits: the guided tours offer the possibility to get to know the animals living at the sanctuary, to know their stories and some of the animals also like to approached. The animals are always respected and are only caressed when they come to the visitors, not the other way around!
Pros: Happy animals, Guided visits, International
