Excellent food & cafe, served by a cool owner! - Edit
Note: HappyCow doesn't allow 5 stars for places which aren't fully veg. That's the only reason why this rate (and I'm guessing the other ones) is "only" 4 stars ;)
Read moreIf you are craving some food which isn't only cheese/meat/fish (kind of the Portuguese standard ^^), this is the place!! I went there twice, trying the salad, soup, burger, cakes and coffee. Everything was delicious (special thumb up to coffee and to the homemade bread... I wish I had a bakery with that one in my hometown), and the owner is super nice.
100% recommended!

Love it! Best Pizza, best Coffe, best Cake! - Edit
What can i say about this unique place! It is absolutely delicious! Besides the very lovely and openhearted owners, that have a great sense of humor btw, they absolutely stand for highly delicious Coffee (they roast the beans in-house), offer by far the best Pizza in Ponta Delgada and the Cakes look mouthwatering! They are incredibly creative and innovative and so costumer oriented. Even during this hard time since the pandemic they stayed positive and tried all in their best manner! And they did so well, thank you so much! This place you have to visit, indulge yourself, enjoy and come back. Spend your money with people and businesses that you know it’s worth, at Intz48 you know it is! Much love to you, Louise and Daniel! ❤️

Delicious and friendly cafe in the most perfect spot - Edit
When I was in the Azores I would spend my mornings on the weekends just sitting here in the sunshine at Intz48 and I was never short of delicious creations from Louise and great coffee (as well as being regaled with entertaining facts) from her partner Daniel. Intz is in the perfect location in the middle of the city, you can watch the world go by with one of their incredible house-roasted coffee - OMG they even have non-dairy milk! - and snack on a delicious veggie soup, vegan pizza, moorish tarts, and of course Louise's fresh baked bread. You can even take retail bags of coffee home to have your own brew - there's really something for everyone here. DO NOT MISS the opportunity to have a meal and a coffee here, it's the best you'll find on the island and you never know what you'll take home with you. It's a chilled and tasty respite after taking a wander through the local farmer's market, or browsing the shops and city center nearby.

intz48 is perfectly located in the city of ponta delgada, serves outside in the pedestrian area and the owners are more than lovely. they serve vegan milk options for the best - believe me, the best - coffee in town! the menu has clearly marked vegan meals although daniel is doing everything to make other dishes vegan as well. i love the pizzas, the tomato sauce is on another level! order in your favour as much spice and garlic as you wish :)
