Ordered the vegetarian platter for two (all the vegetarian options are vegan). Was so delicious. Was very filling. Very affordable for two person dinner.

Would give five stars if possible. This authentic restaurant has been around a long time and is well known in Cologne. The atmosphere is really relaxing and friendly with lit up candles, wooden decor and a lounge up front. Nice drinks for a great price. Service is really friendly and explains how to eat (cutlery on request), and can recommend certain dishes as well. I highly recommend the Sambusa. They’re crunchy and not oily at all - filled with delicious lentils.
Read moreAs main I’d recommend to try the veg platter so you get to choose all toppings on your Injera and don’t have to limit yourself to only one item. They have beans (baldonga), lentils cooked in different sauces (timto), chickpeas (shiro, kek), potatoes (alicha) and spinach (hamli). Great flavours and nice to try all authentic dishes on one plate.
Can’t complain, definitely a great way to enjoy food and an evening
