Best Vegan Curry! - Edit
I was here visiting for work and was delighted by the delicious food and knowledgeable staff. Vegan items were made clear, and I was amazed by the portions! Loved it so much I had to order again with delivery from Takeout Central, the local restaurant delivery service. The meal was just as good and arrived on time. Big fan!

Wilmington Gem - Edit
I wrote a negative review on my first experience here, and I’m here to say I was wrong.
Read moreI wanted to give this place a second chance and brought my family there. The experience was totally different. I really got to appreciate the beautiful garden they have in the back of the restaurant. I got the yellow curry with tofu and it was life changing. The flavors were amazing. They gave me a side of fresh coconut milk to cut the spice down. The portion was so large and worth the price. I highly recommend coming here for a great Thai and atmosphere. They have a larger selection of vegan options than I thought.

Tasty, but unsure about sauces - Edit
I chose the vegetable and brown sauce bowl, because so many of the Thai and Vietnamese appetizer options mentioned fish sauce, I find it hard to believe there wouldn’t be any in the main dishes.

Pros: Affordable, Tasty, At least two meals per main dish
Cons: Iffy on ingredients in sauces , Very busy/popular

Huge selection of Vegan options - Edit
Huge page of vegan options (listed vegetarian, most already vegan but specify with server) dinner and appetizers. Dumplings, samosas and veggie roll were great as were the dinner options but warning the portions were HUGE with enough leftovers for 2 days!

Absolutely amazing! - Edit
The food was beyond phenomenal, the atmosphere is simply stunning I felt like I was in Thailand. They have a decent selection of vegan and vegetarian items, and the staff is more than willing to make accommodations for anything on the menu.

Amazing vegan curry - Edit
The best yellow curry I’ve every had. Huge servings—one bowl of curry will feed 2 hungry people! Try the mango summer rolls as an appetizer:) Also in love with the outdoor Thai garden atmosphere and fun seating options.

Favorite Restaurant in Wilmington - Edit
Absolutely amazing every time I go. Sometimes it's packed so you may have to wait a few minutes but it's worth it. They give HUGE portions that can easily feed two people on one dish which is fantastic and makes it worth the price. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic! - Edit
One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Wilmington. They have many vegetarian and vegan options! The prices may seem high, but they always have generous portion sizes. Just be sure to ask for no fish oil, even if you order from the vegetarian/vegan menu. They have a disclaimer at the bottom of the menu saying that they may still put it in if you don't explicitly ask them to leave it out. My waitress was incredibly sweet about it and made sure to ask the chefs to leave it out. Great experience! Will be back again.

Fish Sauce in all dishes - Edit
Indochine may a nice atmosphere, but you can never be sure there is no fish sauce in your meal. There is fish sauce in the dishes listed under "vegetarian" on the menu. There is even fish sauce in the salad dressings. You will get different answers when asking about which dishes can be made vegan, and you can still never be sure that you won't have fish sauce in your dish after ordering. This restaurant has a reputation for this, but unfortunately tourists and those new to town don't know about it. There have been a huge number of negative experiences in our community. They are busy and they aren't interesting in fixing the issue.

Extremely accommodating! Fantastic food and Vegan options. - Edit
I absolutely love indochine. Wonderful atmosphere and truly a great dining experience. I was able to choose a papaya salad dish from the menu and ask that it be made vegan. I simply subbed the shrimp for steamed tofu, and the sauce for a vegan-friendly sauce. The waiter was extremely accommodating to my dietary needs, and even brought me out several vegan friendly dressings to try before bringing one with my salad. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Wilmington, and I am always able to find something to eat. I either go for the avocado roll sushi, and a side of veggies/tofu. Or I choose one of the "vegetarian dishes" (most of them are actually vegan).

This is my go-to place - excellent vegan options, friendly and informed staff, fabulous atmosphere, and TONS of food for the money. The AYUDHYA EGGPLANT is wonderful and is enough for about three meals, for me.
