Serves meat, vegan options available. Small, family-run Indian restaurant. Non-veg menu but has several veggie curries and other dishes, many types of naan bread. Prices cheap to moderate. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.
I was here this past Sunday with my boyfriend who is non-veg. Though the place is small, the menu is huge! Not to mention a great selection of veg friendly foods. The owners, after learning I was veg, made suggestions on what i may like and what i can have as well as being accommodating to me dietary needs. They were awesome enough to leave butter off my naan as i requested and then suggested that next time I try to rotti as it is completely dairy and egg free. I really appreciated that. The food was pretty good although the portions are small on their linch combos. They DO however warn you of this as you order which was so nice of them. My boyfriend and I ate here for under $18 which is great for pretty decent indian food. If you're curious I ordered the chana masala and sagg pannier with rice and naan. My boyfriend had their chicken tikka, rice, and naan. We both had fountain drinks as will (free refills). I can say we'll def be visiting again soon.
Great lunch spot. Dinner/to go portions are huge. There are always plenty of vegan options available from the steam table (besides ordering full portions).
Most of the curries here are vegan. This place is AMAZING. The types of the curries change day to day, so I never get tired of it! They do have 2 curries with meat but they are on the opposite side of the bar. If you tell the gentleman you are vegan or vegetarian, he is very cautious and considerate and inform you which sides and curries to stay away from. This place is run by a very friendly family. It's tiny, and panda express-style...so don't expect a restaurant. But let me tell you, the spinach curry, gorbonzo curry, and lentil curries are OFF THE HOOK! Not to mention their vegan bread and SAMOSAS! This place is great in pricing, quality, flavor, and friendliness. They also make the dishes as spicy or non-spicy as you prefer. Do not pass this place up!
