A bit of an afterthought of a restaurant

The restaurant was decorated with hundreds of cool clocks. Mercifully they weren’t all ticking at once. The master spoke a little English and was happy to provide vegan options for me. Instead of soup I got black tea. My salad had a bonito flake on it by accident so I was able to just pick it off. The vegetable curry (Yasaikare) was spicy and had lots of Japanese vegetables like pumpkin, eggplant, potatoes and onions. We were charged a 400 yen cover charge for the table. A negative was that the servers were difficult to find because they were watching TV in a back room.

Pros: An effort to make vegan option , Tasty food , Interesting decor

Cons: Service was slow, Table cover charge
