many good options, in general I like the place, but waiting time might be long and toilet is often "out of order"

Home made everything. Tiny hole in the wall, but definitely worth to eat here.

We've been going to Imas since 2008 and have always been satisfied. Ima and Sam are the very friendly and accommodating owners, and it's the only place in all of Palawan that serves tempeh dishes!

Great place and food - Edit
Very friendly owners and great food. It's a vegetarian restaurant but most dishes can be prepared vegan. Just specify when ordering.

The food we ordered was quite simple but exactly what we wanted and very delicious. The owner was so sweet and even though we arrived almost at closing time she took our order and served us😄

Wholesome food - Edit
Modest restaurant run by extremely friendly couple, as such, food service can be slow when it is busy but nonetheless, very tasty. The prices were reasonable and we came back multiple times during our stay. Almost everything could be made vegan which they were more than happy to do for us. Would recommend for a comfortable and cosy meal.

My favourite in Princesa - Edit
This place is such a gem. The little restaurant with lots of green gave me a cam experience. The food was brilliant. As I said I was a vegan, the lady replied that they had vegan cheese for my rice bean burrito. The portion looked small but I was full. They also had a guest book for customers to write their reviews and opinions which I find beautiful. I came back the next day for dinner..

Okay and affordable. Be careful with the dairy. - Edit
The restaurant is centrally located, near the main intersection, and right beside a main road. Not sure if that’s a good thing.
Read moreBe careful as I learned (too late) that it’s “vegetarian” and not strictly vegan. So a good percentage of the menu has dairy. Lots of it. Especially cheese.
Service was okay and quality was okay as well. Just not authentic. Far from it. Especially the “Mexican” ones. But otherwise, a decent place.
No AC, so it might get uncomfortable at noontime. We went in the evening.
Pros: Affordable, Okay service, Accessible
Cons: Lots of dairy, No AC, Parking may be an issue

I'm sorry, this simply isn't true at all.
Read moreI've been going to Imas since 2008 (I live nearby) and as far as I know they are 100% vegan now. They used to be 95% vegan, with every vegetarian item having a vegan alternative. Vegans will have absolutely no problem... talk to the owners, Ima and Sam, in the kitchen at the back to confirm!

Good and cheap - Edit
Very simple place but nice food. As we read the dishes are small we shared a few - spring rolls, fried tofu and two other dishes. I don’t remember the price but it was crazy cheap. We didn’t have to wait that long for the food as other did in the reviews, maybe we were lucky😄

Ok - Edit
Ima’s is a small family-owned restaurant near the downtown area that specializes in more European (Italian) food and this is very dairy based. There are some vegan options. Whatever I had I forgot about so it wasn’t memorable in a good or bad way.

Nice, simple, home cooked food. - Edit
Small restaurant offering a wide selection of vegetarian food. Portions on the small side but everything is pretty cheap. All the dishes we had were basic but tasty. The only downside was we had to wait almost an hour for our food but we had time to spare so didn't mind too much. BYOB.

Nice place - Edit
Nice garden seating area - feels a bit like an oasis. Good size vegetarian menu but the woman on the counter didn't seem to know what was vegan.. the food was small serving but tasty. Good price. I only ate there once. As I was being served my food a man arrived and explained to me what was vegan on the menu - he said that they make their own vegan cream and cheese using tofu and savoury yeast flakes - would have been handy to have him there when I was ordering!

Lots of options in small local restaurant. Had the teriyaki tofu for lunch which was delicious - although not huge. My boyfriend has the bean burrito which he really enjoyed and was a big portion.

Decent - Edit
Really lovely people working there and decent food, but I wasn’t blown away by what I had. I visited a couple of times and tried the burrito, teriyaki tofu and the rojak salad. The teriyaki tofu was my favourite of the three but was quite dry and too salty. I think they forgot ingredients in my salad as normally this type of salad should have tofu and/or other ingredients, but this was just a basic green salad with a vinaigrette dressing. The burrito was fine but a bit bland. Also, the service was so incredibly slow it was a bit comedic after awhile. For one of my dishes I eventually asked to have it to go as it was taking so long. She said, it’s already on the plate and will arrive right away. But I still had to wait another 10 minutes…;p
