Amazing sushi. Disappointing brownie - Edit
My daughter booked for my pre birthday treat, as I was visiting for the weekend. We started out with cocktails which were OK, but didn’t live up to expectations of ‘edible flowers and herbs’ - a few small, dried petals and a tiny piece of thyme.
Read moreThe sushi was amazing and the choice extensive. We chose all vegan things. Everything was delicious and I would recommend trying as much as you can!
The place is beautifully and simply decorated and creates an atmosphere of relaxed calm.
My son in law and 2 year old grandson joined us. We all enjoyed it immensely.
As it was a special occasion, I ordered the chocolate and raspberry brownie, there were no raspberries available and I was served a very disappointing, small, dry chocolate rectangle of ‘cake’.
Such a shame to have this as a last impression of the food, as the sushi is so beautifully artistic and tasty.
Pros: Presentation and taste of sushi
Cons: Disappointing ‘brownie’.

The BEST vegan sushi - Edit
The sushi here is INCREDIBLE! You can tell how much thought and care has gone into each dish - they are creative, unique, and delicious. And the servers/owner are lovely! 10/10! You need to try it!

Beautiful spot, amazing sushi - Edit
We went here for the first time and the food, service, space.. everything was incredible. The menu was 95% vegan (the rest being vegetarian options) and there was so much variation on the menu. We ordered way too much food but the sesame toast and chicken karaage are a MUST!! The staff were so lovely and attentive and really happy that we had a lovely time. Will deffo be going back!!

Best vegan sushi find in London! - Edit
Surrounded by the incredible vibe of Exmouth Market, IMA is THE place if you’re looking for amazing sushi and a great evening out! The standard is really high, and you can try vegan “lobster” and “crab” sushi which I haven’t seen elsewhere, not to mention deep-fried rolls (yum)! Jessica was an incredible host, and I really hope her little business here is a success (please support her)! Menu is mostly vegan with only a couple of items not being (they are vegetarian though); one vegan dessert.

Absolutely fantastic vegan and veggie sushi. The mango roll absolutely blew my mind, so delicious. This will be my go to restaurant for Japanese food. Beautiful location, interior and adorable staff. Run there before it gets too difficult to get a table!!!

Kill The Cheese! - Edit
I really enjoyed the tempura 'crab' sushi I had here that was almost arancini-esque and the staff were super friendly - but the menu is almost entirely vegan bar about 2 items, why not just get rid of dairy altogether and be a vegan place?! It would be so simple, eradicate animal cruelty from their supply chain, increase their environmental performance and attract a bigger customer base - just makes sense!

Incredible food! - Edit
Been here twice already and everything was delicious! Very different to other vegan sushi available in London, more variety in special rolls, all of which are very good. The main menu has lots of options with curries, noodles, dumplings etc. already one of my favourite restaurants. Must try: crab roll, kimchi dumplings and mango t-na roll!
