Unforgettable Brunch - Edit

Would give 5 stars if Ila was vegan! Amazing meal (one of the best brunches we’ve ever had) in a lovely Iowa town. The world is changing for the better...

Tasty Vegan Options, Good Service - Edit

I'm vegan and usually eat here often, as the food is really good and decently priced as well. I also love that they use more sustainable take away packaging than any of the other restaurants in Fairfield. The service is always friendly and you feel taken care of, it can be slower if they're really busy but normally service is prompt.

My favorite items to order are usually the Mediterranean Veggie Wrap (specified vegan), or the Sweet Leaf Burrito (specified vegan, and with rice substituted instead of meat - you can also sub tofu if you prefer). I like these options because they're decently priced, I believe $8.50 each, and they come with a side of chips, quinoa salad, or simple salad. Their pastas and other options are really good as well but can get a little pricey ($10 - $16 ea), so I don't normally get those unless it's a special occasion.

For Sunday brunch I just tried the Sweet Potato Tofu Scramble and it was amazing, I haven't tried any of their other vegan options yet but likely will be doing so soon!

Pros: excellent food, many vegan options, decent prices and good portion sizes, friendly knowledgable staff

Cons: silverware wrapped in disposable paper napkins, serves meat, specials are usually meat items, can't make reservations
