Good food and expansive drinks menu - Edit
Despite not being a vegan or vegetarian focused restaurant (it is actually more akin to a wine bar), the staff went to great lengths to make sure my dish lacked eggs, cheese and dairy derivatives. I enjoyed a delicious main course of gnocchi with an almond-based pesto and lemon peel shavings. You can also purchase alcoholic beverages to go, such as a lemon-flavoured Gin in 100 ml travel sized bottles.

I read you comment and was excited to try the gnocchi. Sadly, I had a very different experience there today.
Read moreThe waitress was, at first, unsure if the gnocchi contained eggs. When I asked if it was possible for her to check, she simply said it must have eggs since it's homemade. She also said the pesto contained cheese, so I'm not sure if your dish was made with a separately prepared pesto. That was not offered to me thought. They only offered to make spaghetti pomodoro, wich was delicious, just not as exciting.

Fine vegan options, friendly staff - Edit
The staff is friendly and the chef is vegan. We ate pasta pomodoro , pasta pesto and salad. Was not cooked very well but was fine.

A few vegan options however most were pasta in tomato sauce. Staff advised that mushroom risotto and pesto pasta didn’t include any dairy however we were unsure. Someone we were with who is vegetarian ordered the mushroom risotto and said it tasted very creamy, they didn’t believe that it didn’t have dairy in. Expensive food and drinks and small portions, would not return. Also took ages to get the bill

Don’t bother - Edit
We visited Amalfi safe in the knowledge that we had at least one or two ‘safe bets’. We were quickly disappointed when visiting here. The menu is very meat heavy (including raw meat) and nothing was remotely vegan on the menu, or labelled as such. We left without ordering.
