Best vegan pizza ever - Edit
So there were 3 vegan pizzas on the menu, but the vegan cheese they use is amazing and so we had vegan cheese on a couple of the vegetarian ones too. I had the Fausto- best pizza ever nevermind best vegan pizza ever.

Interesting flavours! Beautiful dough! - Edit
There were 3 vegan options, with the option of swapping for vegan cheese on any vegetarian pizzas. The place is casual with cool decor and has a nice staff team and is a pleasant place to eat. The chef is clearly passionate about his pizza, using high quality ingredients, creating flavours you're unlikely to find on pizza elsewhere.
Read moreI am local to this place and have supported it since opening and have always enjoyed it and recommend it to others.
The vegan options change every few months I'd say, so there is usually always something different to try.
Some may find it expensive, £14 for a 12" pizza, but you are getting quality pizza that is fresh and very tasty, so a nice occasional treat for us rather than a weekly staple!

Pros: Beautiful dough, taste, texture, everything!, Interesting and enjoyable flavours, Nice place and staff team
Cons: Expensive, although justifiable.

Very tasty pizza - Edit
Quite a few vegan options and they're different to what you would normally get which I really like. The dough is gorgeous and as someone who normally leaves crusts, I definitely don't with these! Small place with a simple but quirky interior.

A wide range of vegan pizzas - Edit
Il Pirata has a good choice of vegan pizzas, all without vegan cheese substitutes.
Read moreThe pizza bases were delicious, however the toppings were messy and slid off the bases.
The Fausto pizza was the best, the pine nuts really complimented the pizza!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Delicious bases

Hi Soydumplings,
Read moreThanks so much for your review & the compliment about the bases, we're so happy you enjoyed the mix of flavours on the fausto (it's also one of our faves too!).
With your comment about the toppings, our style is unapologetically authentic, contemporary Neapolitan - which is a big reason why we're recognised as a Petra Selected Partner and also why our head chef was invited to attend PizzaUp! in Milan last Autumn (an annual conference of the world's best contemporary pizza chefs).
This unfortunately means that unlike the Italian-American styles that most Brits are used to (or even NY/Neapolitan hybrid which is quite common in the UK currently) we serve pizzas uncut, with a knife & fork in the traditional Italian way.
If you do slice, we highly recommend slicing at most into quarters for maximum surface tension & then folding each quarter slice into a pizza boat type fold - this stops the toppings sliding off and ensures you taste all of the ingredients together at once; from the dough through the sauce and then the toppings.
As someone who seems like an avid foodie from your post, we can highly recommend a read of an informative Guardian article here: https://www.theguardian.com/food/2019/sep/06/how-to-eat-neapolitan-style-pizza
Some further reading about Petra flour can also be had in a recent Telegraph article here:

Hope this helps clarify :)

Thanks for your comment, I was not doubting your expertise in the field at all as I have been informed from someone prior to attending how authentic your pizzas were. I did however eat both the pizzas with a knife and fork but still the toppings from the fausto fell off, making it hard to eat. Thanks a lot
