Hanno un intero menù vegano! Abbiamo preso la fregola al tartufo e il seitan scottato ed era tutto eccezionale, il brownie poteva essere più umido, ma comunque buonissimo. Servizio gentile e veloce, pranzo all'aperto con vista mare e brezza sotto gli alberi stupendo!

For vegan they are so small portions, it’s shameless. For meat eaters portions are ok. Also they think is some fancy restaurant, but you actually seat on the plastic seats. Shame for such a restaurant. Well, for those in the pictures we paid 29 eur. They waiter walks like he is the most important in the world, but he doesn’t even know how to speak English. Disappointed a lot!

Questo ristorante ha scelto di avere un menù vegan completo (non adattamento di altri piatti) con piatti interessanti. Io ho mangiato i culurgiones (ravioli tipici sardi) ripieni di formaggio vegan di Veghu, patate e menta. Deliziosi. Poi tempura di verdure e vermentino vegan.

One of my favourite meals in Sardinia - Edit
We had a lovely meal here, and we would definitely have come back if we hadn't been staying so far away! A highlight for me was the cheeseboard! The presentation impressed me as you could tell they'd put the same attention and effort into as they would have a non-dairy version. They had also veganised some of the local Sardinian dishes like culurgiones so was nice to try some local dishes. The staff explained each dish when they brought it to the table too, was a great experience.

Amazing experience in front of the sea - Edit
They have a fully vegan menu available with entrees (vegan cheese platter, potato rosti, tempura veggies, etc) , main courses, second courses (delicious meat alternatives "straccetti") and desserts. Definitely recommended :)

Dove NON mangiare vegano in Sardegna: Ristorante Il Lido. Appena usciti dal Lido amareggiati e delusi da un'esperienza terribile. Avevamo specificato di essere vegani già nelle note in fase di prenotazione. Veniamo sistemati in un tavolo proprio a fianco alla vetrina ospitante un numero esorbitante di fauna ittica tramortita, e vabbé ci passiamo sopra. Ordiniamo un tagliere di antipasti con formaggi Veghu e due piatti di culurgiones Veghu. Dopo un'ora e un quarto ci arriva un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi derivati dallo sfruttamento e dalla crudeltà. Facciamo notare l'errore e prontamente ci viene sostituito quel tagliere con un tagliere di Veghu.

Disgustati, rinunciamo al dolce, ci alziamo, paghiamo e scappiamo. Apprezziamo la volontà di essere inclusivi proponendo un menù veg ma la disorganizzazione e la poca attenzione al cliente è stato qualcosa di altamente imbarazzante e penoso.

Read morePer la prima volta non ci siamo sentite clienti di serie B, non ci siamo dovute accontentare della pasta al pomodoro o delle verdure grigliate perché il menù proposto è studiato, curato e interessato a rispondere alle richieste di tutt*, comprese le nostre.
Un esempio di ristorazione INCLUSIVA, che ormai dovrebbe essere la normalità, che accolga le scelte alimentari di una clientela sempre più attenta e consapevole rispetto a ciò che mettiamo nel piatto.
Non solo solo per la tipologia e la qualità delle materie prime, ma anche per il modo in cui vengono lavorate.
Indimenticabili i culurgiones ripieni di vegurino realizzati artigianalmente da @VEGHU, beyond burger altrettanto delizioso.
Se passate in quelle zone é d'obbligo ❤️

Ammirevole la scelta di includere un menu tutto veg(ci sono anche i culurgiones veg!!!!!) in un posto come Torregrande, il mondo sta prendendo forse una bella direzione. Personale efficiente e super super gentile e professionale. Veramente bravi!!!!

È davvero pregevole che il questa località marina sia presente un ristorante che offre una specifica carta vegana, con piatti curati sia come qualità che come presentazione. I prezzi sono un po' alti per la zona, ma merita sicuramente una visita se siete nel Sinis. Anche il locale è molto accogliente e ben curato e il servizio attento. Consiglio di non scegliere le mezze bottiglie dalla carta dei vini perché hanno un ricarico decisamente troppo elevato.

We went in October and the beach nearby was very quiet, but the restaurant itself was pretty busy with locals. There is a dedicated vegan menu but this isn't a vegan restaurant. The portion sizes are generous, normally I end up ordering 2nd helpings but I couldn't even manage dessert at this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. 1 waitress spoke good English and the other enough to get by. The vegan menu is fairly basic but they made an effort to make it a little interesting e.g. almonds, flowers in the pasta. The Beyond Meat burger is the only choice for mains, but you could probably have one of the starters as a main also. Very clean and looked new.
